Blind Item #1
This A-/B+ mostly movie actress from an acting family has been silently enduring a very subtle but ever growing transformation. She has always had issues with her birth assigned gender, but due to her very conservative background and, later in her life, her acting career, she had to keep this undercover and had tried many times throughout her life to conform to being a girl (she even used to be very feminine during a good period). It was a certain role (which by the way she contended hard for) in which she could explore a more gender-fluid appearance and demeanor, that she had the chance to experiment with a more authentic self. Ever since then, she's been struggling to keep the glamourous and lady-like appeal demanded from her. However, due to a tremendous emotional turmoil, related and unrelated to her intimate problem, the past months have been hell on earth to her. She drifted away from close people, made some other bad choices, and even made a public appearance a few months ago covered with fresh scars on her arm. She's very depressed and lonely but has no one she feels she could reach out to and tell the truth.
Rooney Mara
ReplyDeleteIs this that old Jamie Lee Curtis rumor reworked as a blind item?
ReplyDeleteElle Fanning
ReplyDeleteJanet Leigh and Tony Curtis were not conservative. Shailene Woodley gives off that kind of vibe
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm kind of thinking this blind should have never seen the light of day. It's no one's business
ReplyDeleteThis is insane. I hope the young lady gets the help she needs.
ReplyDeleteHilary Swank
ReplyDeleteMovie is "Boys don't Cry"
ReplyDeleteSeems about right.
ReplyDeleteWhy is therapy/counseling looked down upon so much?
ReplyDeleteIf the Affordable Care act goes away, so does insurance coverage for mental therapy/counseling.
I hate to hear of anyone feeling lonely, especially around the holidays. I hope she finds someone she can confide it and take tat weight off her shoulders.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that as well but I don't think she is from an acting family
ReplyDeleteRooney Mara was my first thought. She just seems inherently masculine to me.
ReplyDeleteJust watched the trans list on hbo and it's amazing. God bless this person and know that there are many people who support you being your authentic self even out here in middle America.
ReplyDeleteAGREED. Sending love and hugs to whoever this actress is!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me sad. I hope she can find someone she can trust and confide to help navigate this matter. This is so unnecessary, there is help out there.
ReplyDeleteOMG this is so OBVIOUSLY Rooney Mara!
ReplyDeleteEVERYTHING fits with her description!
This def reads as Rooney Mara. Over on LChat (I know, I know), they had enlarged pics of Rooney's scars on her arms, which she's not really bothering to hide half the time.
ReplyDeleteHer mother, Judy, did do a little acting (though not enough that I'd call them an 'acting' family). The problem with Hilary Swank as a guess, imo, is that she did 'Boys Don't Cry' in 1999. That's nearly 20 years ago. I don't get the feeling that this blind was suggesting she's been struggling for 20 years to remain 'feminine.' She was hardly known before that film, and I don't know that her public image changed much from then on.
ReplyDeleteRooney Mara would make sense. The Mara family (and Rooney family) are both quite conservative (owners of the Steelers and the Giants in the NFL), and she grew up among the elite, likely having to maintain a real feminine look while attending all the public events as a child growing up. 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' would be the film that allowed her to explore a less feminine role, I'm guessing.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have any problem with the change, I think she would do really cute boy tbh, the thing is that Hollywood is conservative as hell
ReplyDeleteNo one should feel alone. Im gay, live in san diego.
ReplyDeleteSober for 3 years. Have her email me. Time to end the pain.
Elle Fanning. Movie is "About Ray"
ReplyDeleteRooney Mara was also in "Carol."
ReplyDeleteDespite all the trans hoopla I don't think this would be a good career move for her. While the hollywood community would outwardly be very supportive her career would effectively be over. She might be happier though and I suspect she doesn't have to worry about money so if it devastating her she should just go for it. Maybe she can be happy AND not a movie starlet.
ReplyDelete+Me @ Lisa,
ReplyDeleteThe gossip value is good but that's sad in a way and very touching & intimate. Not gossip.
This is OBVIOUSLY Angelina Jolie.
ReplyDeleteHere's Rooney with her sister Kate acting very girly some years back.
ReplyDeleteAll of this must be so hurtful :(

Not from an acting family (unless you count her marriage to Chad Lowe).
ReplyDeleteYeah, but everybody's sexual interests and fidelity status TOTALLY are.
ReplyDeleteShailene was for Bernie, so I think she's probably pretty liberal.
ReplyDelete@wendy. I meant that Shallene gives off the transitioning vibe. I like her liberal protesting persona. I think she's great. My response was to lala lady about Jamie Lynn Curtis.lol
ReplyDeleteOh okay, my mistake I thought you meant she gives off the conservative vibe.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, I agree, I can see the transitioning vibe too.
"Hollywood is conservative as hell"- Buck Angel, Dec. 15 2016. I have a feeling we'll want to remind you of this horrifically misinformed statement for years to come. What a joke!
ReplyDeleteIs Rooney Mara obviously
ReplyDeleteIf she has no one to reach out to to tell the truth, then how did you find out about how she feels Enty?
