Today's Blind Items - One Hit A-Holes - Anniversary Month

This is not true in all cases, but it happens enough to the point where there is some correlation. What is that correlation? You are more likely to be a self centered jerk if you are a one hit wonder. What is crazy is that at least in my experience, the jerkiness is in place before the verdict is in whether they or he or she will have another hit.

My belief is they know they got lucky. Deep down inside they know they got lucky and don't have anything like that in them again. Maybe a friend wrote the song or someone who was in the band for just a brief moment. You can usually spot that kind of thing by looking at the rest of the record. Does that one song sound completely different than anything else on the record. I don't know why it is, but there are much more male one hit wonder jerks than female. Anyway, here are some of the one hit wonder a-hole moments I have witnessed.

#1 - This one hit wonder group from a few years ago was 100% a-hole. I actually hated the song and was glad it didn't make number one. It did make the top 5 though. They were already pricks before the song, so this just made things worse. While their song was on the way up the charts they had a photo shoot on a yacht here in LA. They wanted to make the most of it and invited a bunch of women. The yacht maybe went a mile off shore. It wasn't much. Apparently there was one woman there who didn't want to have sex with any of the guys in the band so they grabbed her and threw her overboard. She couldn't swim. And you know what? They didn't care. Several people rescued her and the a-holes told the rescuers they shouldn't have rescued her and she was probably lying about not being able to swim and she deserved to go overboard because who comes out for this kind of thing who doesn't want to have sex with a guy in the band.

#2 - This next a-hole didn't quite crack the top 20. Famous name. Famous family. They were probably a-holes too. Our one hit wonder is the "featuring" on this song. The main singer all of you know. Seriously. Anyway, our a-hole was on a flight from LA to New York. He was in Business Class and seated next to this teenage girl who was maybe 15. She was traveling alone, but I never figured out her circumstances. Whether she was an actress or did an upgrade or what. Anyway, before the place even takes off, he is offering her booze. She said no. In the air he is offering her more booze and some kind of pill he was crushing and snorting. She said no. He is getting more wasted and more aggressive. When she keeps saying no, he goes into a rant about she thinks her p***y is too good for him or is she some f**king lesbian because everyone wants to suck his d**k and that she should feel lucky he is even talking to her. It starts getting louder and the girl is literally shaking and crying. Turns out there was a marshal on the flight. He talks to our a-hole and moves him to the opposite side of the plane for the rest of the flight. A flight attendant sat with the teen the rest of the flight. Nothing happened to the a-hole. They made him wait until after the teen left the plane before he could get his stuff but no charges were filed and he was never even detained.
