Blind Item #4
A couple of cracks in the nice guy armor for this barely A+ list mostly movie actor who made his fame on network television. Our actor, who has remained mum on certain political issues has not remained mum about what he thinks of pet owners who treat their pets like kids. Some really bad things about cat owners. Oh, and he is also Paris Hilton attentive and loyal when it comes to pets.

ReplyDeleteIt is Chris Brat http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2016/11/chris-pratt-and-anna-faris-sued-for-animal-neglect/
ReplyDeleteReaching.
ReplyDeleteHypocrites are everywhere.
ReplyDeleteEspecially in Hollywood.
Why isn't Anna part of this blind? She's the one who signed the agreement. Most rescues tell you to contact them if you can not take care of the animal. Very simple. The weird thing about giving up his 15year old cat on Twitter was really odd.
ReplyDeleteA former neighbor got rid of their cats when they had a baby. They paid a no kill shelter to take them. Then they had to get an exterminator because the mice took up residence in the babies room.
ReplyDeletehe's hyper-religious and is a closet jerk/bigot/republican. like, anti-choice, homophobic - all the workings. he has a fake image, truly.
ReplyDeleteI have a beautiful little boy and two gorgeous cats, who are ALL treated like the Kings that they are. I am fastidiously clean and spare the cats. I don't get the problem..!?
ReplyDelete*amd SO ARE the cats I meant ?
ReplyDeletePratt has bragged about being a hunter so I suppose pets are not high on his priority list.
ReplyDeletePratt is a Christian and God told us that animals are there for US to do WHATEVER we want with them. Too bad for them cause a lot of them are dang cute. Oh, well. It's not mine to question the Lord . . .
ReplyDeleteI love my pets, but I've got problems with people who treat them like kids too. Sorry you're so lonely, but get out where the people are and find a friend.
ReplyDelete@bankonit Guardian of the Galaxy my ass
ReplyDeleteDon't know who it is but considering my disdain for Hollywood, if my doggy was growing and this guy too, I give the lifesaver to my boy. Don't mess with pet owners who love their pets.
ReplyDeleteDon't know who it is but considering my disdain for Hollywood, if my doggy was drowning and this guy too, I give the lifesaver to my boy. Don't mess with pet owners who love their pets.
ReplyDeleteSo the guy doesn't like pets that much.. I mean really? Who cares it's not like he's a shitty dad or treats his wife and their son badly. This is not even blind worthy.
ReplyDeleteLove is love. If one of my dogs, past or present, were in a blazing house I'd die trying to save them, if that were to be the case.
ReplyDeleteWhich it wouldn't because I'm scrappy that way, haha.
And, I'd like to add, that anyone who emotionally distances themselves from pets, as this blind reads, has no business in my life, and, frankly, I don't like you.
If you feel so above them, don't have them.
@OKay: Many people that bond strongly with animals to the point that they treat them as though they were children are abuse and trauma survivors who bond with the pets because of lingering fears about trusting people. Although this certainly isn't the case 100% of the time, it certainly wouldn't hurt you to try and be a bit more compassionate instead of wording your comment like someone who is a raging jackass would do.
ReplyDeleteOKayer: thanks for that explanation.......i think it is true in most cases. certainly it is in mine, i would much rather spend time with my pets than with most people. and yes, it is probably because i have trust issues with humans.
ReplyDeleteand with all due respect to June Gordon, i believe that we have no right to take any life that God has given. not to mention that we have a moral right as the most intelligent species on earth to take care of all the other creatures we share the planet with.
sorry, not moral 'right'. instead, moral 'obligation'.
ReplyDeletechris pratt is a conservative jesus freak behind closed doors?? color me shocked. probably voted for trump.
ReplyDelete@OKayer
ReplyDeleteAnd just where exactly do you read rage in my comment?
People love in varying degrees, obviously. I deeply love both humans and animals.
Every person I've ever met (and that number is many, unfortunately) who don't like animals have always had other aspects to their personalities that I don't appreciate.
I'm sure there's a study out there you'd find interesting.
If you don't love animals, you shouldn't own one. My opinion. Simple as that.
@Okayer
ReplyDeleteI thought you were responding to me. My error, sorry.
I thought you (sort of) put your own name in as who you were responding to, by mistake.
I can't even tell who Okay is talking to or why, haha.
Right. Treating them like kids?? As in NOT chucking them in the trash when they become a burden. I mean going by his standards I'm surprised he didn't roast them for Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAll they did was give pets away to other homes instead of back to the shelter. Millions of Americans do this actually. It's not dog fighting or something jeez!
ReplyDeleteBullshit you don't know who it is. Moron.
ReplyDeleteIt's the same guy who hunts animals for sport...the facade will come crashing down one day
