Blind Item #3
This band which has had a pretty good 2016 is banned for one year from getting any of these music awards after they broke the rules and publicly explained how the awards are bought and paid for. I have told you for years, but I think it might be the first time one of the bands has said anything.
I will guess The Chainsmokers. They are feuding with Gaga and god knows how often her team does that.

ReplyDeleteSort of like Franz Ferdinand did a decade or so ago after finding out how they really got radio spins in the US and explaining pay for play to a new generation that insisted it wasn't payola or really illegal.

ReplyDeleteOh please, people figured it out a long time ago. I haven't watched an award in ages and that includes the Oscars. Further more, they take turns. It was Julianne Moore after getting passed over so many times. This year it's Amy Adams, after getting passed over so many times. Listen how she's getting pumped up for Arrival: Amy is inviting, her softness, she's heroic, compassionate. WTF. I swear it's Florence Nightingale in the Crimean War. I saw Arrival and I love Amy, and NO NO hell NO. Then again we have Nocturnal Animals so she'll get the nod next time. Who cares about her performance. But I digress, I could care who wins any of them. The fact they keep handing them like Candy to Taylor seals my contempt for all awards. And don't get me started on Beyonce demanding trophies for her performance and making crazy Kanye crazier. The pox on everybody.
