Apparently the almighty dollar is much more important than preserving the memorabilia from this permanent A list singer. If you have enough money you can do whatever you want during a tour of this estate and some items appear to be missing too. It is just one big unorganized cash grab going on there.
Prince/Paisley Park
I'm surprised Prince didn't lock everything down legally long ago..he had to have a flock of lawyers working for his business who would advise him to have a will and plans to avoid this
ReplyDeleteIsn't Jay Z doing something with Prince's music or something like that?
ReplyDeletePrince had lawyers scouring you tube for any hint of someone posting videos of him, but his finances were said to be a mess. He didn't trust anyone, plus he was seriously drugged up. I would imagine people took advantage of him during this time, but he certainly isn't the only one this happened to. If he had lawyers working on his business, he could have put them in charge of the estate as well.
ReplyDeleteNo, Jay put that story out to make TIDAL look like a viable business to potential buyers. Prince's family denied selling anything.
ReplyDeleteI nailed it. Just throwing that out there. It was easy but boom. Bama got one first. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhen this was first posted, I told you about the "asset manager" I met who told me she uses Prince as an example of how and why they should secure their estates now.
ReplyDeleteSad situation that was preventable.
Sad sad sad
ReplyDeleteUgh this is so disappointing
ReplyDeleteThis blind reveal hurts my heart.
ReplyDeleteDidn't the assh*le who bankrupted and sold off Hastings Entertainment and Movie Stop to liquidation companies buy Paisley Park? If so, expect it to be shit in about 2 years. Bye Hastings - last stores shutting down this week - over 5000 lost their jobs because of one guy.
