Blind Item #5
This foreign born A list singer who probably isn't A+ list any longer had a group of male and female models she partied with for 36 hours straight while out of the country. Apparently there were no clothes allowed in the party.

Why is Rihanna no longer A+? And why didn't she lobby for the Superbowl? Not that I care but Gaga hasn't been hot for years but Rihanna is.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds pretty unbelievable, even for Riri.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is her radio hits. She's only had 1 single-single hit (no features) this year, Needed Me. She has other songs out called Sex With Me & Kiss It Better, but they're not getting much radio play, KIB not at all where I'm from. Her other song features another person (Drake w/ Work) and was very popular. Calvin Harris w/ This Is What You Came For is a popular song, but she (along with T swift) are just featured vocals. She also is featured on Drake's song Too Good which is slowly gaining more play, but it's not HER song. TL;DR Her stand alone songs/releases aren't getting as much radio play as songs w/ other people.
ReplyDeleteRhi Rhi is too much of a risk to have a nip slip. Her new songs are not that good and i have heard them sporadically.
ReplyDeleteBut she could bring all those people out to perform with her. And Gaga hasn't got radio play in years.
ReplyDeleteI guarantee Gaga's gonna be performing naked. I think there's another behind the scenes reason why Rihanna isn't up to bat, just not sure what.
ReplyDeleteI'm just offering an explanation of why he may not consider her A+ list lol. There's many people for her to bring out.
ReplyDeleteThis subject was discussed last month on CDAN. Had to do with Chris Brown's health and how she probably suffered from the same 'illness.'
ReplyDeleteI dont think Middle America is not a big fan of her music. When she first hit the scene it would have been good. Beautiful girl with a great voice but not workin it hard enough. She needs to be more like Beyonce.
ReplyDeletelady gaga hasnt had a radio hit in YEARS.
ReplyDeleteYEARS.
it's like the golden globe and billboard...her team probably bought it for her...but honestly, the whole world gave a collective 'huh?' when gaga was announced for the superbowl bc we KNOW, anybody knows, that she hasnt had a hit in forever.....what the hell is she gonna play? her music from 2008-2010?
Ok that still doesn't explain why Gaga was chosen....
ReplyDeleteA 36 hour party? Sounds like Rhi Rhi was on a good coke bender!! So why not party and get naked? Lol
ReplyDeleteGaga can sing though. Have we forgotten her Julie Andrews tribute? She can belt it out and I think she'll be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteit was tribute to "The Sound Of Music" (50), not to wonderful Julie Andrews...
ReplyDeleteher tribute to David Bowie wasn't great...
she can sing, but she needs her own & new hits for this kind of show to be 'fantastic'...
The popularity of a song doesn't make it fantastic. Perhaps my standards for music are higher than auto tuned garbage.
ReplyDelete"it’s like the golden globe and billboard…her team probably bought it for her…"
ReplyDeleteChrist, get that tinfoil hat off.
I thought that part of the reason Gaga got the half-time gig was because there was such positive feedback re: her National Anthem performance at last year's Superbowl...The powers that be were really pleasantly surprised with her rendition and the talk about her performing the halftime show this year started way back then.(mind you, i didn't read this anywhere, just my own made up theory).
ReplyDeletePretty sure the NFL announced last year that performers were going to have to pay THEM to do the halftime show. Gaga's that desperate. Rihanna isn't.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Tony Bennett will do a song with Gaga. I was shocked that Swifty is not doing it
