With her new movie going to be a huge flop, this B+ list mostly movie actress from that franchise is going to have a tough time picking up any acting hardware she actually can't buy. Apparently the fall person is going to be her longtime PR person. That would be a big mistake.
K stew
ReplyDeleteif this blind is referring to kristen stewart, Im not even sure in what world you'd think Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk would flop. is enty referring to a different movie? that movie probably will be a critical darling/oscar contender, esp for ang lee as best director.
ReplyDeleteis this referring to Personal Shopper? cause I heard that was HATED when it was seen by people.
or it could not be her
Gal Gadot, maybe.
ReplyDeletei hear wonder Woman is terrible.
Anna Kendrick, Trolls is going to SUCK. Plus all of her other movies recently have been flops, save for Pitch perfect. The Accountant isn't getting great reviews either.
ReplyDeleteNot her. Enty always mentions her Academy Award nom and calls her A list. Plus The Accountant opened higher then expected and while Trolls won't be a hit with adults, it tests through the roof for kids which is its target demo
ReplyDeleteKstew is the likely target here
"That franchise" is Enty speak for Twilight
ReplyDeletewhats the big movie thats gonna bomb for kstew?
ReplyDeletebilly lynn has been getting rave reviews from the fests its been seen at
KS billy lynn's movie floped at NYFF and was really panned. I don't think its gonna be a oscar contender
ReplyDeleteThat was an insider job of smear campaign, typically Hollywood. Warner Bros is actually pretty much half way working of the next instalment of WW as a franchise in its own. Budget and schedule is of course tied to WW's first movie numbers…but they'll go on with at least a couple more no matter what.
ReplyDeleteThere are tons of good reviews for Personal Shopper. And even those who don't love it all say she's great. Plus it's an indie, so no huge expectations, $ wise. Plus, certain women, in which she 'costars,' just got best film of London Film Fest. Altho this blind might be her, it's a total b.s. blind, like most of them...
ReplyDeleteHaven't you seen the reviews for Billy Lynn? There were a couple of raves, but mostly critics have said the film is unwatchable. Ang Lee's first big critical flop.
ReplyDelete.....panned by who? just wondering the outlets that wrote it up as bad. sucks, I wanted to see it only for the 120 fps novelty....supposed to be as close to viewing in realtime w/human eyes as possible.
ReplyDeleteI could see it though being too smaltz maybe? who knows
It's getting terrible reviews and flopped at the NY Film Festival.
ReplyDelete*Billy Lynn
ReplyDeleteVariety, Collider, slashfilm, various online critics and people who have seen the film, Us Magazine, The Guardian, The Wrap, all slammed it. Hollywood Reporter was meh on it.
ReplyDeleteIt has a 14% review on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 4.4.
That should be 14% rating.
ReplyDeleteNot at the NY Film Festival.
ReplyDeleteLol this is so obviously written by said "longtime pr person" who's about to be fired.
ReplyDeleteKStew views the movie audience with disdain. She wants your money but hates your gut for paying attention to her. So screw her. I agree the PR folks need to go for not telling her to check the attitude.
ReplyDeleteAnna Kendrick
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely Kristen Stewart...Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk is the film, and it's getting panned left, right and center.
ReplyDeleteStewart, (and her PR team) sooner or later, should be called out for BUYING the Cesar and every single one of those "best actress of her generation" articles.
Stewart is a terrible actress and a lousy person as well.
It is also worth noting that every single film Stewart is in bombs.
ReplyDeleteEvery single film after Twilight, when Stewart began her "serious" career as an actress, (with the stellar reviews for herself that she/PR team paid through the nose for) BOMBS.
A crappy actress who is also Box Office Poison.
No, Enty had a blind about Kristen buying the Cesar award. It's like the French Oscar. That's where the "any acting hardware she actually can't buy" line comes from. Trolls and The Accountant weren't expected to get her any awards either & like RandomGuy replied to someone above The Accountant did better than expected & was #1 at the box office this weekend.
