All is not well in north of the border land similar to Shondaland. Apparently there is huge trouble brewing and staffers from LA sent to help with damage control.
Katie Cassidy becoming a regular on three separate superhero shows. The casts are not happy.
What's she *not* on? That's who she's not sleeping with.
ReplyDeleteSo which CW boss does she screw?
ReplyDeleteAll of them.
ReplyDeleteDoubt she is causing much trouble when she hasnt even started filming on a couple of the show yet, and oh wait isnt her current roommate and former roommate, both major cast members on these shows.
ReplyDeleteActually Enty is right everyone hates her but the CW doesn't pay them enough to get their own apartments so they HAVE to room with her smh
The thing I don't get about these types of blinds is that who wants trouble on their shows and if it apparently common knowledge that this so so actress without a vocal fanbase causes trouble on all her projects then why does she get hired?? Surely not just because she is sleeping with a producer. Too much money at stake.
ReplyDeleteYeah I dont believe this blind, and the guy who runs all of these shows is gay (Greg Berlanti) so this girl is sleeping with someone even higher than him? Even though these shows are always filming in Canada, doubt thats where the top level execs are
ReplyDeleteThis is only to finish out her contract (which saves the CW money as they don't have to buy it out). She signed thru season 5 & her character was killed off in season 4.
ReplyDeleteShe will only be around for this season - no way they're bringing her back after this.
And she bought an apartment in VanCity (she announced that a con last year) so she no longer has roommates.
She is not popular with cast & crew. She causes problems whenever she is.
The folks from Supernatural won't even talk to her when they are at the same cons.
It's not about whose sleeping with who.... I really doubt she is sleeping with anyone for parts. It's more about contract fulfillment & the monies paid to her. The CW is contractually obligated to pay her thru season 5....this allow them to fulfill their contractual obligations without penalty & allows Miss Cassidy to have face time on TV. A win/win situation. Hopefully, she finds a new show soon & can move on from the Arrowverse as its obvious she's not wanted there.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny because the only cast member who genuinely seems to like KC is Emily Bett & KC's stans are so quick to drag EBR on social media b/c they think she usurped their BC queen & stole her storylines.
ReplyDeleteSeems they would be grateful that EBR gives KC any positive vibes b/c she's the only one to do so without ulterior motives (like promoting the show).
The creators are 3 dudes. There was one who used to pimp the fuck out of the actress. But then suddenly stopped shortly before she was fired. The guy even went on a social media break.
ReplyDeleteI like her and she is more talented than other celeb offspring. Plus I still love David Cassidy
ReplyDeleteSo it's okay to have Wentworth Miller and John Barrowman on three shows at once but not a chick? Nice.
ReplyDeleteIt's not because she's a chick. It's because she's considered unlikable.
ReplyDeleteThey don't like her character Laurel. I feel bad for her because the writers at cw really do poorly with their female characters. If you really think about it's the same formula Smallville established. Have 1 girl in on the know & the love interest chick clueless to the secret. (Lana lang & chloe) Then when she finds out the secret they are together very briefly & it ends & she becomes a fighter able to help. Happened with Arrow & Flash too except they haven't gotten to that last part yet with flash
ReplyDeleteForgot to add the writers make the female interests really annoying during their not knowing the secret phase. It comes across as whining instead of action everytime
ReplyDeleteI agree. It makes no sense. I guess "logic" or/and "common sense" is something they just don't know what it means.
ReplyDeleteThey should praise for the only person who actually seems to like and gives positive vibe to their fave but, instead, they drag her all over social media.
It has nothing to do with her character.
ReplyDeleteJohn Barrowman's character is terrible - yet cast & crew love him.
It's Katie Cassidy - the person- no one wants to work with.
Sources?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much of a regular she is actually going to be on all three shows. According to TV Line she'll be used "when needed." Arrow is shooting episode 6/7 of the new season, and reportedly she's only been in a flashback in the season premiere so far. Sounds like this "regular" billing might be a bit overblown.
ReplyDeleteTold y'all back when they posted it :D
ReplyDeleteShe's sleeping with Pedowitz. He basically owns the CW.
ReplyDeleteCome on Enty, drop some tea about Candice Patton. I know you have lot's of things to say about her. Canadagraphs don't waste time and always show us who she really is, so do it too, please. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteKC's a loose canon with a big, vindictive mouth - they're throwing her a bone so she doesn't spill what she knows about her co-stars everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThat's because KC stans are psychopaths. I've never know a bunch of crazier fans in my life. Maybe Lexa/Clexa fans have the edge.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel sorry for her. I agree that CW are terrible at writing/handling female characters though. But KC just got it wrong at every turn. She was miscast from the start and then when they fixed the love interest/lack of chemistry problem between her and SA (by making EBR the love interest), KC was still demanding to be the love interest. She just wouldn't let it go. So instead of focusing on being a kickass female hero, she was still trying to act like she was the love interest. It was just sad and didn't work with what was actually happening on the show. Not surprising when she admitted she doesn't read the scripts apart from her own lines. That and she was a nightmare to work with.
ReplyDeleteTV Line and Spoiler TV made a huge mistake when they called her a season regular. She has a deal to appear when needed, but it was really only to shut her up and so they could use BC as her likeness. KC is known to be difficult and she's threatened to sue more than once, so I think this was just easier for everyone concerned. My guess is she'll have one or two appearances per show and even then it will be one scene.
ReplyDeleteNo surprises here. KC has a history of being difficult to work with, even going back to when she was on Supernatural. The guys hated her. I know this deal to appear on all 3 shows is just to keep her quiet and more of a legal thing so they can use her image on the show as BC, but she doesn't deserve it. She's a terrible actress and a nasty person. She was spreading rumours about SA not too long ago.
ReplyDeleteShe's been a long term actor on the CW. They're known to rehire the same actors over and over. Plus she's been spotted with a couple of producers before, even the main one of the network.
