Two bits of advice on dead-beat Dads: One, ex-wives need to go to court periodically to up their child-support payments (because most guys earn more and more, year after year, as they get older). Two, no matter how long it may have been since you last saw your Dad, even if it has been three or four decades, you, as his child, are entitled to your inheritance once he dies.
Any decent Child Support Agreement already has automatic adjustments included into the Child Support amounts to be paid to account for Cost Of Living adjustments/increase in income/change of job/etc. just to AVOID people having to return to court all the time.
Made millions and lost it, no sympathy.
ReplyDeletePay up, loser.

ReplyDeleteUnless he specifically cuts you out. Dads are allowed to disinherit their kids, you know.
