This former dual threat A list actress blew off work yesterday because they were only going to shoot one scene involving her. She didn’t want to deal with it all for one shot so called in sick. She never changes.
I've heard a lot about Heigl & her Mommacuda being horrible, unprofessional, etc. but isn't it even a little possible that a pregnant woman called in sick because she was sick? It's the bed she made for herself, but being pregnant can seriously suck sometimes.
I do think it's very possible that she was sick, but she's squandered so much good will from people that it's understandable she wouldn't get that benefit of the doubt.
Always loved her until she went off on "writers" of Greys saying she took herself out of contention for award because the writing for her character didn't deserve it. What a POS! Then went on the criticize the same way with movies she did. Bye diva.
Maybe she was sick. She is pregnant now, right? It's not easy to work late in your pregnancy in the heat, and if she is having complications (plus taking care of her two adopted daughters at the same time as still working and being pregnant) then I can see her needing good reason to put stress on herself. They can alter the schedule to do all her scene reshoots in a single day.
Re: the issue where she attacked the writers, she said she felt the subject matter they gave her didn't result in any great acting on her part, and since she didn't feel she showed any great range of skills she didn't feel right being nominated. I think her words were twisted a lot.
I like Heigel...she speaks her mind in a Hollywood where everyone just agrees and nods their head. She has high standards. There are so few good roles for women that they often end up in situations where they play the 'wife' or 'girlfriend'....most of these movies are written and produced and directed by men...she could either just smile and say these are great movies and great roles or she could be honest and create an awareness about the limits that women face in the industry. (this post is written by a man, btw)....Is Shia getting as much flack as she did by saying that his Speilberg movies were crap? I applaud her honesty and hate seeing her 'benched' by the film industry...move of them don't stand for anything, except when its tie to pee.
Awful woman.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that she keeps digging, burying herself deeper and ruining her own career with her shitty attitude.

ReplyDeleteI'd be more inclined to believe that, @Nuzzy, if Heigl had called in sick on other days when she had more scenes.
