Blind Item #3
All is not well in north of the border land similar to Shondaland. Apparently there is huge trouble brewing and staffers from LA sent to help with damage control.

Scream Queens?
ReplyDeleteDisney/Dreamworks?
ReplyDeleteWhat shows with powerful producers is filming in Canada? Something where a lead actor could be killed off like Shoes would do, to make it so the character couldn't return?
ReplyDeleteVery cryptic. So "north of the border land" and similar to Shondaland. I can't think of a one person several show spewing writer/producer.
ReplyDeleteShonda, not shoes. Can auto correct be turned off? This started when they upgraded the keyboard and it's impossible to put names in without being corrected. However,it does spell out Britney Spears name adding the unnecessary last name!
ReplyDeleteGreg Berlanti's team
ReplyDeleteHmm this one is hard I know that Arrow/Flash/Supergirl/Legends of Tomorrow film in Vancouver and they have people who work on the show overlapping, but nothing like shonda. Dick wolf also has a lot of shows but I don't think he is canadian
ReplyDeleteAh, yes! Berlanti!
ReplyDeleteBetween?
ReplyDeleteBerlanti. CW has added Supergirl to portfolio and it seems no one is happy with that, especially people from Arrow.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that SG was going to be cancelled but CW picked it up instead so perhaps the shows already there like Arrow and Flash don't want to have to keep SG afloat? Maybe those shows feel like that's what's happening. SG should be good enough to stand on its own. Bad enough they had to bring in the Flash for the last two shows of SG S1 and it wasn't a huge booster.
ReplyDeleteIt's Berlanti's CW shows & it had nothing to do with SG.
ReplyDeleteThe actors on Arrow, The Flash & Legends are extremely unhappy that Katie Cassidy is being brought back on a limited run (her contract is for current season only) but they were told she was gone forever & they would never have to deal with her again. Her contract is to fulfill CW obligation to her for her remaining Arrow contract & they were hoping they could get her guest shots on other shows but no one would take her so Arrowverse got stuck with her again.
Everyone on the shows hate her despite what they say on SM & are ticked they have to deal with her again.
This seems to be a huge leap in logic. Since none of the actors have EVER expressed any ill will towards her, its unlikely she is causing such a stir, I think this blind has to do more with the fact that there are all these changes going on with the introduction of a new show to the network that has the possibility of eclipsing previous ones,
ReplyDeleteIs she high maintenance? I know nothing about her.
ReplyDeleteWhy would the Flash and Legends be unhappy? She's not on their shows.
ReplyDelete-100000000000 Be gone
ReplyDeletefrom what I can tell this is only fan speculation. Its not unbelievable that there could be an actress everyone hates but pretends to like, but there should still be some type of discomfort that is apparent or something to indicate this. From what I can see she gets a long with the cast just fine and I doubt one person can cause problems across four different shows
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding, D Rock? Do you think you are fooling anyone?
ReplyDeleteShe has a new deal for recurring status across all 3 shows - Arrow, The Flash & Legends.
ReplyDeleteSince her character was killed off on Arrow she will only in flashbacks there. On The Flash she will Black Siren & on Legends she will appear in alternate time lines or in the past as that show makes use of time travel.
I dont know why people don't like Supergirl, I think it's a great show.
ReplyDeleteIt IS about Katie Cassidy and the Berlanti-verse. It is true that no one on the shows likes her. Some of them, like Emily Bett and Caity Lotz, pretend to be friends with her for PR. Katie Cassidy is known for holding back productions, being late, abandoning cons and being over-confident (thanks to her daddy). I mean c'mon... If people liked her, she wouldn't get killed or written off every show she's ever been in (Gossip Girl, Supernatural, now Arrow.)
ReplyDeleteShut up asshole. I guess you lost your new job already.
ReplyDeleteI totally believe this could be true about Katie Cassidy. I've heard she is very problematic. It makes sense that they brought her back to fulfill a contract because no one else wanted her. If they had planned all along to do this why didn't they announce it after Laurel's death on the show? It would have saved the writers a lot of hate messages. So I totally believe they were forced to bring her back and no one is happy about it. I know I'm not.
ReplyDeleteYou jobless already, girl?
ReplyDeleteRain Murphy is producing mutipule shows
ReplyDeleteRight verse, wrong co-stars.
ReplyDeleteCan you elaborate? Which show(s) in the verse and what co-stars?
ReplyDeleteRight, right, right. So why does she keep getting hired?
ReplyDeleteDo you work on the show? You seem to know a lot about her contract and what the other actors think.
ReplyDeleteI tried to watch Super girl and it is bad. It just seems like it was written to appeal to a 10 year old.
ReplyDeleteAnd I cannot look at Calista Flockhart's frozen plastic face - she didn't look good in her prime, but she looks horrendous now.
Granted this is based on 10 minutes of 1 ep, but I had to bail.
Because of her SPECIAL relations with Pedowitz. If you know what I mean ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, she hasn't done anything since Arrow, cause she can't find a job. Oh, that 'video game' and Dunkin Donuts don't count :D I see you're trying to support her, because you're probably her fan and you don't want to see that she's ACTUALLY problematic. But that's okay, you can stan whoever you want to. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and if you don't know who Pedowitz is, he's basically one of the main producers or something at CW, that's why the network can't really get rid of her.
ReplyDeletePedowitz is the head of the CW network.
ReplyDeleteWell, this is clearly about Greg Berlanti's shows as they all film in Vancouver. I don't know what's happening that could cause problems. I don't think it's about Katie Cassidy returning because it seems like her role is gonna be basically nothing but a couple of appearances. Maybe this is about them having to share the spotlight with Supergirl now.
ReplyDeleteUh she was just on arrow. Give a girl a minute.
ReplyDeleteAgree that it's Berlanti. The comparison to Shondaland is a bit of a stretch, but not really--Arrow and The Flash basically made the CW network more well-known to people outside of the teenage girl demographic, and LoT also did well. I think SG found the right home with The CW too.
ReplyDeleteShe was in Flash too and made an appearance on LoT. Plus half of the Lot cast worked on Arrow, and the other half were on Flash. People from the shows know her and aren't her biggest fans.
