ReplyDeletealso zzzzzzzzzzzzz...
ReplyDeleteAlso 2, Marcell Dareus in *rehab* for smoking marijuana?! Are they frickin serious?!
That's crazy shit.
I would be reporting them to the cops for assault if I was one of the other customers having that inflicted on me. Druggies only care about their own liberties, they don't give a damn about anyone else's.
ReplyDeleteIt's the second time he's suspended for drugs. He just got a yuge contract extension so maybe Buffalo told him go to rehab or we're cutting you?
ReplyDeleteHe absolutely should comply with the terms of his contract, period - I'm just amazed that he'd go to rehab for marijuana.
ReplyDeleteMust be a special, private, we'll-do-whatever-you-pay-us-to-do rehab.
Yeah. I dont need the "munchies" among other things.
ReplyDeleteExcept for all those legal ones. Any scrips Ann? A lillte Addy or HH just to get you through? Most likely where thay were made what they were doing perfectly legal. If you to be judgey become a prohibitionist. Alcohol actually kills. Or was this snark?
ReplyDeleteGIVE IT A REST GRANDMA.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most underwhelming blinds of all time possibly. And hey, at least you can't call Ms Cyrus stuck up.
ReplyDeleteIt could be something other than weed. All the league can say is that someone is suspended for violating their drug policy. It's the player that reports usually what the drug was (I read that he said he missed a test fwtw). I don't know what would happen if a player would say he failed because of weed, but it was something like cocaine, to save face. I'm not sure the league could issue a statement saying that the player lied, either because of hippa or the cba.
ReplyDeleteMiley is a girl of the people! Also we know that weed will be completely legal in the us in about 10 years or so, right? *yawns*
ReplyDelete"I would be reporting them to the cops for assault if I was one of the other customers having that inflicted on me."
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure you would be rightly laughed at before the 911 operator hung up on you.
I'm not sure if I've ever posted about this here before, but I dated a guy in high school who got really, really screwed up on pot. Like, went into a crushing despair of depression, and ended up trying to kill himself. He was a brilliant guy, too. He never fully bounced back.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he had other issues, but I've hated pot ever since. Everyone acts like it's some natural, wonderful drug, but it has some serious effing side effects. I certainly don't begrudge the chronically ill from smoking -- a dear friend who recently passed away from cancer found a lot of relief in it -- but for many people, and especially young people, it can screw with your head. At the very least, for many people, it drains their ambition and drive.
I am very much against the war on drugs, but I also don't agree that pot is harmless and benign.
Rita Ora she just got the Top Model judge gig......
ReplyDeletenow I KNOW that i've said this before(alot of times I can't remember what i've written) but addiction to marijuana IS a real thing! I personally know 3 who are friends who really truly went to Rehab 90 & 120 day programs b/c of pot--no other drug or alcohol involved-
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if it's legal, if these people were drinking on the job, they would be fired, period. A lot of stores Do random drug testing, they could get caught later and be fired
ReplyDeleteThis ^
ReplyDeleteThere is a HUGE difference between pot (plant) and the thc-derivatives. I am kicking shatter (THC-derivative) and have the exact same withdrawal symptoms as a heroin addict. Vomiting, shakes, cold sweat, hands hurt, headache from hell, insomnia, cannot eat... Not.fucking.harmless.
ReplyDeleteI mean I'm all for being able to smoke my pot, and I love it, but it's pretty well known that if you have to smoke it on the job or feel the NEED to smoke, you have a problem. I love smoking, but I can stop and will stop occasionally and take months off from it here and there, but I'm the same way with alcohol too. I think it should be treated the same as alcohol. Can't buy it till your 21, dont smoke and drive or you get a DUI, and obviously don't smoke on the fucking job. They need to figure out a way to test how long it's been since people have smoked though, because a person could have smoked a bowl the night before, and it would still show up, so like figure out the levels or something would be a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI agree Wendy.
ReplyDeleteTo John: No, I'm not taking any prescription medication at the moment, but if I were, it would only be me taking it. Nobody else would be getting unwanted exposure to it as well.
ReplyDeleteTo AyyyPapi: I don't doubt that the police response would be inadequate, but that would be wrongly, not rightly. It would still be assault regardless of their response. I don't want that garbage in my body.
To Nunya: I'm no Grandma, I'm under 40 and on most issues, I'm left of centre. But I understand the enormous amount of damage that is done to the community and to families by the selfish decision of a few to use drugs. It's really not ok.
Lol so many pot phobes here it's like a fox news comment section! Rx abuse is the number one killer/rehab sender now and it's LEGAL. Worse it's marketed to you online/tv/print and by medical "professionals". I am sure you know a problem stoner just like when you heard the tale of the kid who dropped acid and was never sane again...
ReplyDeleteTwo wrongs don't make a right, Saras. Yes, abuse of prescription medications needs addressing too, but that doesn't suddenly make other drugs ok.
