For the last decade or so, I have watched famous celebrities declare they have cancer, shave their heads, lose a little weight, and then, miraculously, become cancer free and thrive. When you can't make that much needed comeback, call People Magazine and tell them you've just been diagnosed with the Big C. Viola! You're front and center on all the covers of gossip tabloids, all the talk shows and morning TV shows. I think each person should be required to produce a professional diagnosis letter from a cancer doctor to verify you actually have it. Does Shannon really have terminal cancer?

Nobody spends a month in the hospital trying to diagnose something. That whole story is bullshit.
