This former A+ list actor and director who is trying to mount a comeback to A status the past couple of years used to have it written into his contract that editing needed to add in hair to his receding hairline. This was before CGI got good so more often than not when there was a closeup, his hair looked awful.
Kevin Costner
His acting range is from A-to-B as well (awards or no)
ReplyDeletehe was like the Rick Astley of acting to me
ReplyDeleteNothing like growing old and balding gracefully.
ReplyDeleteI'd shave my head like my Brother-n-law, but my skull shape is NOT attractive - at all.
(Yes, I have a warped head.)
Another one who plays one character in every movie, himself. Goes to show you, you don't need talent just a look in this industry.

ReplyDeleteThe Mandatory Rick Roll Internet Requirement hasn't been lifted, has it?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. http://tinyurl.com/RiccckkRollllll
He was spot on in "The Big Chill" !!! ; )
ReplyDeleteI actually thought Kevin was really cute in "Silverado".
and I've loved alot of movies he's been in...almost in spite of his wooden performances..like "No Way Out" & "The Untouchables",etc.
Oh many of his movies were good movies.
ReplyDeleteI lived him in The Upside of Anger. A really underrated movie
ReplyDeleteLoved him... Jeez I can't spell
ReplyDeleteOh baby, I'd still do him. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to disagree with you on ranking. Despite hit or miss roles/movies the past few years, Costner is perm A+.
ReplyDeletei don't care of his balding, i just hate his chin but like his nose, his body is ok, his acting is so-so ...
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite movies. Joan Allen was perfect.
ReplyDeleteHe has a huge bulge. I can't help but looking at it whenever he's on screen. that's all I got.
ReplyDeleteThe Upside of Anger is one of my favorite movies, watched it many times. Great cast, Joan and Kevin were perfect together and who would think they would make a great screen pair?
ReplyDeleteAgree.
ReplyDeleteJohn Kinsella: Well, good night Ray.
Ray Kinsella: Good night, John.
[They shake hands and John begins to walk away]
Ray Kinsella: Hey... Dad?
[John turns]
Ray Kinsella: [choked up] You wanna have a catch?
John Kinsella: I'd like that.
Go back 1990-1991 and watch Costner and Madeline Stowe in Revenge, the best Costner looked in a movie and they sizzled together. Warning, violent movie
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteYup, the untouchables is a stone cold classic.
ReplyDeleteHe was amazing in Mr. Brooks - my favorite serial killer movie.
