Blind Items Revealed #2
June 19, 2016
For the first time I can remember, members of this almost show are fighting. Some of the people on the show think the for your consideration ads are favoring a couple of the actresses and leaving the others in the dust.
Orange Is The New Black
Hasn't it always been we know who 3 or 4 of them are and don't know any of the rest?
ReplyDeleteWho's getting left out?
ReplyDeleteLori Petty and Danielle Brooks should be the ones getting the biggest pushes for their performances this season. But it seems like the promo material is still focused on Uzo Aduba and Taylor Schilling.
ReplyDeleteThey are all supporting & all replaceable. They need to drop the attitudes or they will be killed off during the riot or sent to max.
ReplyDeleteDone with Danielle, she mad a big deal about airport security saying aren't you lucky about flying 1st class and it being about race. They say the same to me all the time, I'm white & fly at least monthly for work, 1st class due to all my miles.
ReplyDeleteI Co-NAILED IT with Tricia. It may be the first time I've said that about a female.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of ignorant things actors do but this is truly one of the most ignorant. It would take all I had to not seriously laugh in their faces if they came to me with this lol. How do you settle it? Draw straws? Send them to timeout in separate corners? Make them wear the "get along shirt" until they make up?
ReplyDeleteIf you are on an ensemble show like 'OITNB,' and you want that Best Actress nomination/award, you had better start by going to all of your co-stars and getting their approval first.
ReplyDeleteIf this was referencing Season 3 nods (it probably was, since Season 4 debutted too late for consideration this year), I don't see how they can ignore Taryn Manning. Doggett's rape was devastating, yet opened up one of the best storylines OitNB has provided in its years on air. And Lea DeLauria certainly delivered in the supporting role.
ReplyDeleteIf Season 4, Samira Wiley and Lori Petty both deserve major love.
Where have you been? I have missed you.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I lost some respect for her when i read what she wrote on twitter. Some people have a chip on their shoulder that never goes away.
ReplyDeleteOH my gosh, shut up. It is a big deal. She was automatically assumed to be poor because she was black.
ReplyDeleteYeah, 'cause being treated like a second-class citizen and facing racism everyday is something that should be ignored. How about you get the chip of your shoulder about black women playing the victim?
ReplyDeleteWow I've read some of your other comments and you seemed level headed but you're an idiot.
ReplyDeleteI've never been treated as cruelly by anyone as I have been by blacks so i know racism is alive and well. I lived in many culturally diverse cities.
A lot of people get congratulated for making first class, myself included, by ticket agents. This idiot, Danielle Brooks, chose to make it about skin color because she was bored on twitter that day.
People like you and Danielle Brooks ate what's wrong with this world for the rest of us just trying to live. You're not even worth a response. Bye ignorant ass.
THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you for saying I seemed level-headed... wish I could say the same for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you've been so wronged by black people. Just a guess, but maybe that's because you're racist?
Yep I was just a big ol racist little kid trying to mind her own business going to a predominantly black school in Las Vegas
ReplyDeleteYou got me now like, oh my god, shut up, k?
