Blind Items Revealed #2

June 24, 2016

This look like she is sticking around for awhile longer former one hit wonder turned multiple hits now A- list singer is getting a lot of angry mail and social media directed her way because she has not come forward to support a large percentage of her fans in their moment of need. Instead of addressing it, she is just hiring more people to protect her and refusing to make as many public appearances.

Honestly, I don't know anyone from this area who GAF what celebrities do about this. There are celebrities in Orlando bigger than this pop star who haven't said jack and no one called them out.

No Maria you misunderstood what I said--people who live here in the Orlando area who are bigger names than her. And, believe me, there are plenty, athletes mostly, some singers, and actors too.

  6. Is this her PR people creating this drama for needed attention to sell records?
So sad those innocent people were caught up in a deranged man's world and died.
But, why would Megan's opinion be any helpful?

Only publicly elected officials "owe" a public statement in the aftermath of these events.

People really need to get over their wildly out of proportion sense of entitlement.

Why does a singer have to share her thoughts on it?

I had to google this person and she is shockingly unattractive. Hideous, really. She reminded me of Rumer Willis.

Why does she need to comment? I don't see the problem she's not a politician. I find a lot of 'slebs' comments in these situations to be trite and irrelevant.

  11. I like her more for keeping any opinions to herself. I can't stand undereducated, self-absorbed celebrities espousing their thoughts on current events & politics like they're bastions of authority on the matter. Most just make statements for attention anyway & don't actually give a shit about the cause at hand.

  12. If she were a lesbian I could see her making a statement but I think it's pretty crappy of people to expect her to say anything. She's a singer. It's her job to entertain. Not to comment on things that happen. People need to grow up.

I'm not seeing why they should speak out? Yes it would have been nice of them but if they had it could have looked as if they're using a bad situation for publication. + Perez is an asshat . He's posted pictures of teenagers without panties. He's just a disease that festered in the media. Mister high and mighty also had pictures of his Christmas tree but forgot we could see him in his whitey tighties with a 5yr old girl in the corner while he's hanging decorations. It was crude Is a Chester? No, but only filth like him would be fine doing that.

    Whoa, whoa WHOA!

Trainor is not attractive, but calling someone Rumer-level ugly is just harsh

Even if she were a lesbian, she shouldn't be shamed for not making a comment. If she wants to say something she will. Why do people insist on forcing half-assed opinions out of celebrities?

I only cited Perez ( but in my link there were more people) as an example of someone calling out others celebrities and not only Megan Trainor.

For the rest, again, it was not asked by ANYONE to speak about Orlando, like it was an obligation or so, but have been critized the " famous " people that have somehow " benefitted" from gay people that have been silent, the LGBT people feel betrayed and used by these silent celebrities. Maybe there is over sensivitiy, but, these people have been killed just for being gay, I think her fans are wrong primarly for being her fans, but i can understand if her gay fans asked her some words for them, social media are just that: intercomunication, why couldn't her fans ask that?

  18. I agree she shouldn't be shamed into making a statement. I said IF she were a lesbian I can see her making a statement. Since she is not a lesbian, to my knowledge, I don't understand why people are so pissy that she hasn't. It would be like asking some lily white person to comment on POC issues. It's pretty much meaningless. So why even bother. I just don't get it.

No one should make a big deal out of it if some people don't want to comment on a particular story and their reasons don't matter. If they don't want to, they don't have to.

At the same time, almost every person I know has had something to say about Orlando. It isn't odd or intrusive or inappropriate for celebs to have something to say about it, just like everybody else. You may not like what they have to say but nobody's out of line just for commenting on this story.
