This former A list mostly movie actor from back in the day has been going through health issues. Recovering from one, he now is facing something even worse. He is going against decades of belief to have some very aggressive treatment to keep him alive.

ReplyDeleteHis cancer must have spread. :(
Val Kilmer
ReplyDeleteNeck scar - maybe thyroid cancer.?
ReplyDeleteGood on Val for doing what needs to be done. Hope it's not too late.
Will always love him in Real Genius.
Enty, he's had that faint scar for a minute now... he has been looking less frail and clearly has some strength. Maybe he is currently cancer free and not actually dying at the moment. My friend's husband has lived for 10 years after throat cancer. Had once recurrence and has been good for 7 years.
ReplyDeletehasn't this blind been done before?
ReplyDeleteDid not Val Kilmer already went against his beliefs and all when he had the operation/treatment against his illness in another blind. Sounds like re-stashed blind.

ReplyDeleteMet Val Kilmer in 2000, 2001. He had the most beautiful complexion I have ever seen on anyone, male or female. So sad to see him not well. Talk about an actor who had it all and was A++ at one time. Life can be so unfair.
ReplyDeleteVal Kilmer had the opportunities he strived for in acting school fulfilled, and lived his dreams. No life is pain free, but Mr Kilmer's has been lived far on the plus side of the equation.
ReplyDeleteA perpetual A++ life does not exist in the real world, where everyone suffers setbacks and disappointments. A life achieved with tenacity & grit is much more interesting than one that falls into place through luck and charm.
No tears need to be shed for V.K.
Prayers now...those make sense!
