Blind Item #4

This foreign born A- list mostly movie actress says she is not interested in big studio movies any longer. Hmm. Not what she tells her agent. She begs her agent to be in them but our actress just can't land them any longer.

How is she A- if she can't land the occasional big studio movie?

Gemma Arterton has publicly said that she asked her agent to get her out of Hollywood movies after flops like Prince of Persia etc. She is still working quite steadily in lower budget European movies.

That's what Diane Kruger just told People. She is almost 40, that is Hollywood grandma age, there are just not so many big studio movie roles.

  8. This actress obviously doesn't understand that making a movie is like playing Craps!
Everybody thinks rolling a "7" is a winner when it is actually a losing number.
Even the money behind the film financing knows that it just takes one hit to pay for all the other flops.

Kruger's only been in a handful of big budget movies. The National Treasure franchise is the only thing that even comes to mind but there have probably been a few more.

Now she's middle-aged. Younger actresses have taken her place in those supporting roles so she's trying to play it off like she doesn't want them?

She should have stuck with Pacey.

I pity you if a 40 year old woman is "middle aged" in your world.

  11. It's Hollywood's world. Actresses just live in it.
