Blind Item #4 - Kindness
Apparently this foreign born actress who was in that Dr. thing had bunches of extra passes she somehow acquired for Comic Con and passed them out to anyone who recognized her. It was not the most extravagant gesture of all time but it was probably 30-40 passes and they were $55 each. Oh, and sold out so even more special.
Billie Piper? Was she there?

I'm guessing Dr. Who but who knows, Entern is clearly hungover :(
ReplyDeleteWell I have no idea who was at Comic Con but I'm going deep for this one - the "Dr thing" being Nip/Tuck, the actress - Joely Richardson; could be grateful for being recognized.
ReplyDeleteDoctor Who's Karen Gillan. She's there for Guardians of the Galaxy (Nebula).
ReplyDelete100% Karen Gillen. Doctor Who star, and featured at SDCC on the Marvel/Guardians of the Galaxy panel yesterday. Sold out crowd.
ReplyDelete100% Karen Gillen. Starred in Doctor Who, also featured heavily on the Marvel/Guardians of the Galaxy panel at SDCC yesterday, and it was standing room only.
ReplyDeleteDamn hard companion to follow..Good for her!
ReplyDeleteI like nice people.
ReplyDeleteKaren is the best. Arthur, Karen and Matt are well known for their kindness to fans and general loveliness. Just never hear a bad word said about them professionally or socially, no gossip, no egos, nayda. Those three are not thirsty for fame nor willing to shill. Nice to know there are still genuine and grounded people in the business. Pity some of their prefecessors in Doctor Who don't have the same qualities and personal integrity.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Even though Im not a fan, I think San Diego should keep Comic-Con and let LA County have the Chargers.
