This foreign born A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee you either love or hate with no middle ground was mistaken for a drag performer while eating out this past weekend out of LA and asked where she would be performing that night.
Cate Blanchett
Love her
ReplyDeleteI can see this....
ReplyDeleteWhat I really want to know is how she reacted. Was she pissed off or did she laugh about it?
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware people hate her.
ReplyDeleteThis seems much more apt for Tilda Swinton, but whatevs.
Who hates Cate Blanchett???
ReplyDelete(maybe just Enty)
ReplyDeleteWoody Allen's haters for example
ReplyDeleteI can see it as well. I actually have mixed her up for Tilda once or twice, they are both very fluid in their looks.
ReplyDeleteShe has played men. But, I wanna know did she at least have a sense of humor about it?
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the same thing re: Tilda.
ReplyDeleteThere have been a few items about Cate being very dismissive of fans.
Her voice is so deep.
ReplyDeleteHer early work in
ReplyDeleteThe Gift
Decent Southern accent
And Keanu plays a bad guy
I hope she bangs women
ReplyDeleteId be down to clown
Love that movie. So campy.
ReplyDeleteShe is a bit mannish in the jaw, she's tall and doesn't have a feminine figure. I don't think it's an unreasonable mistake. But it would be pretty offensive to most women.
ReplyDeletewell, she did play Bob Dylan in "I'm Not There"
ReplyDeleteI hope she good a good laugh out of it.
ReplyDeleteI will cut you. Tilda is a goddess and can do no wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think it's related to her support/defense of Woody Allen.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list that didn't know people hated her lol
ReplyDeleteI neither love her nor hate her. Sorry, you're wrong!
ReplyDeleteWatch 'Love Is The Devil' with Daniel Craig and Tilda Swinton. Don't be shocked if you can't pick her out at first. Amazing film.
ReplyDeleteShe would've laughed her arse off. She's an Aussie, that's what we do.
ReplyDeleteA favourite of mine too.
ReplyDeleteGotta admit it - I love that movie. One of Keaneau's best imho.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Love her, great actress.
ReplyDeleteShe gets hate from people who "cancelled" her for defending Woody Allen and from people who see her as distant towards her fans. I didn't know that until twitter. It's amazing what people dig up there.
