For years, this A+ list mostly movie actress has made a bunch of money working for a company that likes to sell products door to door. Now, speaking of doors, she is being pushed through the exit door by a former co-star who wants to be the new face of the company and wants the former co-star out of the picture.

I heard Avon does tremendous business in South America, so it would make sense for Sofia to take over.
ReplyDeleteI'd be embarrassed to own anything Avon . It's like hi , ya, I'm 78 years old. On my coffee table resides a crystal bowl featuring a lovely crystal top , filled with mysterious hard candies that you will only find at my house. Point being grannies love their Avon. I love my grandma btw

ReplyDeleteThis is funny. It doesn't matter who the "face" of Avon is, Avon has went the way of pet rocks and eight track cassettes. Plus people aren't stupid, no one believes "the face of " Aveeno, Jennifer Aniston ever actually uses it. We all know she doesn't. I don't know why Aveeno pays her a dime.
ReplyDeleteI wonder this about a lot of companies paying celebrities to blatantly hawk stuff you know they'd never use/wear/consume. I actively avoid buying products with marketing strategies that undermine my intelligence.
