This B+ list mostly movie actress who is a celebrity offspring thought after her monster hit from last year that people would be throwing offers at her right and left. They were, until they saw she had gained some weight. Then, all of a sudden the offers all disappeared except for some off camera work. There is even talk she might be written out of the next installment of the monster hit. Hollywood sucks. She is great.
Bryce Dallas Howard
Am I supposed to know who she is?
ReplyDeleteFRENCHGIRL NAILED IT
ReplyDeleteThat's just stupid. She's a good actress. I'd much rather see her than some talentless twat who happens to weigh 105 lbs.
ReplyDeleteRichie Cunningham's daughter. She was in "The Help" and "Jurassic World"
ReplyDeleteDid I nail this? I'm too buzzed to remeber.
ReplyDeleteI agree-she was great in The Help
ReplyDeleteI don't have to be drunk to call you out on your shit, Pam. AKA "Mookshi
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame but she's been in some really big B.O. hits. She'll get jobs.
ReplyDeleteEnty, you're stating the obvious. Hollywood sucks big time, yeah, that's a given. It's bullshit. BDH is a great actress. She's not the stereotype skinny blonde tall with nothing to offer except for looks kinda girl. She has actual talent.
ReplyDeletewhassa matter, Snookems? Liquor store closed for inventory?
ReplyDeleteShe is a good actress but I don't buy it when she plays beauty roles... she isn't a beauty. If she were ok with getting regular roles (ie NOT Gwen Stacy, or John Connor's wife, seductive Victoria's replacement in Twilight, etc) then she's probably get lots of roles, but her connection seems to help her land roles she isn't a fit for.
ReplyDeleteI got this one! Bryce being heavy (for an actress who is supposed to be size 0) might end up being to her advantage. She's starring opposite McConaughey in "Gold". They play redneck grifters (it's based on a notorious Wall Street scam in the 80s). A couple of the Oscar predictor sites have Gold high up among their predictions. She's a good actress and this might give her a good career as a character actress.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm a little tired of actors who look like Jesse Eisenberg, Jack O'Connell, etc. being promoted as leading men when they are so damn unattractive. I wouldn't mind if every leading lady didn't have to be a knockout. No fair.
I like Howard, she is an offspring who knows how to act and isn't going crazy trying to be famous..... Like Kate Hudson.
ReplyDeletenot only is Bryce beautiful but a talented actress considering that not all celebrity offsprings can act. This really makes me sick that the movie honchos would even consider cutting her out of movies because of her weight. I rather see her in a movie than the countless skinny bones who can't act.
ReplyDeleteMy first love at 18 was a super skinny chick, it was alright and all. Today 30 years later, I will take a thick woman with 10 /20 extra. All good.
ReplyDeleteShe and Jessica Chastain are pretty interchangeable to me tbh. Maybe Hollywood feels the same.
ReplyDeleteBryce is a wonderful talent and the standards they put on women in Hollywood are insane. Total rubbish that she should be told anything like that. Seems she had a very strong and solid upbringing with her family, and she'll always get work based on the right things I hope.
ReplyDeleteAgree. But...She looked pregnant in a photo on Wireimage around the date this was published. I know that is mean and horrible and I feel HORRIBLE for saying it, but it is true. Her part in the Dino film wasn't that of brainiac, it was that of HOT teacher(administrator). Part of her job was and is to be attractive and thin. And before anyone plays the female card, go to any sports bulletin board/chat site, and see what men say about the bodies of males who play on a favorite team. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteBoo freaking hoo! Part of her job is staying fit and in shape (i.e. not being a fattie). Leading men in Hollywood have the same burden. If she can't put down that morning donut, she should go get a job working as a cop or a mailman. This is the game, those are the rules, nobody forces anyone to play. They play because they want an easy life filled with money, fame, and acclaim. Don't like the rules, but still want to play? Too damned bad.
