The star of the most expensive movie ever made saw his studio career crash and burn because he would not marry a woman. Instead he lived with his publicist who was the king of kissing up to celebrities back in the day.
Ramon Novarro/Herbert Howe
He was murdered by a couple male prostitutes.
ReplyDeleteA book was written about this a decade or so ago. Read it but don't remember the name of it. Anyone remember?
ReplyDeleteYeah he was murdered by male prostitutes, but he was way past being a star by then. He was close to 70.
ReplyDeleteDamn, his death is both disgusting and weird: suffocated by a dildo in his throat after being tortured.
ReplyDeleteBush Bunny- are you thinking of Hollywood Babylon?
ReplyDeleteI feel like as a silent movie star, his career was bound to crash either way
ReplyDelete"Beyond Paradise: The Life of Ramon Novarro" by André Soares
