Gay bashing still goes on every day, it's still not safe to be openly gay. I'm not advocating for the closet, far from it. I'm just not going to say a bunch of useless bumper-sticker slogans about how everyone's so accepting and supportive of gay people. No, gay people are targets for assholes and bigots and you can see that right here on CDaN just about every day.
