Blind Item #3
Everyone forgets this actor is foreign born and then when they do remember he is foreign born, inevitably get the place where he was born wrong. Anyway, our A list actor has been known to have a bit of a drinking problem. A few weeks ago he got hammered at lunch and walked back to his car which was in a mall parking garage. He decided to take a little nap. When the last movie ended 12 hours after his lunch, our actor was still asleep in his car. Security finally had to ask him to leave. So, he hopped in the front and drove away.

ReplyDeleteKeifer Sutherland. Canada/England
ReplyDeleteI'll catch hell, but I think sleeping in your car if your drunk is a pretty good decision and I wish more people would do it. If it was a secure garage, even better.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Unfortunately, if a cop finds you I think you still go to jail. Which makes no sense since that's much better than being driving around while drunk. SMH
ReplyDeleteI thought they would only put you in jail if you were behind the wheel. I was always told that if you slept in the backseat you were fine as long as the keys weren't in the ignition and you weren't sleeping in the front of the car.
ReplyDeleteI thought that too, but I've read articles that people were arrested, maybe the keys still in ignition which a drunk person would forget to do. Haha
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, if your keys are near you or on your person, you go to jail...
ReplyDeleteWhat if you toss them in the trunk and sleep in the back? :) I guess the cops wouldn't care about someone trying to get by on a technicality!
ReplyDeleteThat's an idea b/c then the guy 'could' argue it'd be an illegal search since there's no probable cause that evidence of a crime's being committed or has just been committed is hidden in the trunk of the car.Sleeping in one's back seat in a parking garage w/no keys in view or readily available may be odd & suspicious but it ain't really a crime....that'd be too much of a hassle that cops just don't want to deal with...
ReplyDeletethat's such a funny 'in yo face' avi...cracks me up every time.
