ReplyDeleteI was going to say that! I would rather a sincere statement from an artist than a forced one...and since when is a "tweet" the be all and end all of a persons character or involvement of something. Of course Gaga had to do a freaken press conference..

Also, if you ever actually interacted with a woman, you'd know that women don't get all pissy when they have their period. I'd bet a million dollars that you couldn't tell, based on behavior or attitude, whether a woman was or was not menstruating.
ReplyDeleteGod, I HATE that song. I mean, the tune itself is catchy, but the lyrics are so exploitative. She has to ensure her listeners in the song that she has a boyfriend, so she's not REALLY a lesbian. It's a slap in the face to lesbians who have to put up with this attention-grabbing shit and the stereotype that women just kiss other women to get attention from men. SMH.
