This A list singer is also homophobic despite her career being made in large part with success she has had from the gay community. She has gone radio silent about the Orlando shootings and is now being pressured by the LGBT community to issue some type of statement.
katy perry
ReplyDelete"despite her career being made in large part with success she has had from the gay community"
ReplyDeleteHer first single: I kissed a girl and I liked it
It feels unseemly to *demand* a statement from anyone who's not in politics. Social media shaming is pretty petty.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that! I would rather a sincere statement from an artist than a forced one...and since when is a "tweet" the be all and end all of a persons character or involvement of something. Of course Gaga had to do a freaken press conference..
ReplyDeleteAnd weep. She publicly wept.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen her (photos of her) with Taylor Kinney since her birthday, btw...I wonder what's up there.
he went to an eye doctor
ReplyDeleteand ear and nose and throat specialist
ReplyDeleteHa!
ReplyDeletePlus, she's not nearly as rich as she was a couple of years ago.
Brit Brit?!!?
ReplyDeleteI know right? She's perm A list now though? The rating seems off for so many including Rihanna who is still A+ inthink here. I'll throw in Kesha even though it doesn't say former A+. And we know she turned down Amber Heard as per Enty...(but many would I think lol).
ReplyDeleteor we can just ignore the correct answer because it was not yours, first...
ReplyDeleteHappy homophobe day!
ReplyDeleteStill ...59 million ...according to Forbes...I weep not.. no wonder she lost the hunger for fame and riches...lol
ReplyDeleteThat A Star Is Born remake we dreaded may be happening, with Bradley Cooper Directing? Maybe sometime is going on with them. Real or fake, they kind of make sense.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that LGBT comunity ask ANYONE to show public support to their cause, but just to people that in the past have " profited" from them, pandering or not to get publicity
ReplyDeleteSo, ok, noone should be forced to make statements, i totally agree, but i feel the right to judge anyone that was so vocal in the past about LGBT cause and now is silent. It's a matter of not feeling used.

Pay attention at the artists who despite exploiting gays for profit still remained silent & did not use their platform when tragedy struck.
THIS is the matter
What's wrong with you D Rock? You are like a little girl on the playground.
ReplyDeleteand you like an ugly bridge and tunnel troll..surprised they have wi-fi there
ReplyDeleteHas anyone heard any statements of condolence or prayers for the men and women who died in Orlando from the Pope or NYC's Cardinal Dolan? I haven't. Big surprise?!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. That was blistering. Burrrrrnnnnn.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree
ReplyDeleteLady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce, Paul McCartney...
ReplyDeleteIt's Nicki Minaj.
ReplyDeleteYes Ginger it is Nicki there is a story about it on a different site. They were trying to figure out if her twitter had been hacked after a anti-gay tweet was made from it
ReplyDeletePope Francis made a statement on June 15
ReplyDeleteNicki Minaj. It was a big thing all over twitter a couple nights ago.
ReplyDeleteSince you don't like pussy you have to act like one again? Every day you're on your period. One day you'll turn into a big girl.
ReplyDeleteNicki is a rapper--always described as a rapper and is the answer for number one. And her career did not skyrocket from the gay community.
ReplyDeleteI defend you a lot here, Derek. But sometimes you are your own worst enemy.
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteBut but but.. plastic surgeries will fix her!
STFU you whiny piece of shit.
ReplyDeleteok @ Okay , Malibu. A for effort ! Is that why Malibuborebee has posted a few times here last hour or or 2 (since here today), without an avi? Then with one after being called out.Tough going between the 2 screennames ain't it.
ReplyDeleteI like Kesha for this.
ReplyDeleteAbout this? https://broadly.vice.com/en_us/article/the-celebrities-staying-strangely-silent-about-the-orlando-shooting
ReplyDeleteIggy?
ReplyDeleteNo, Keash did write something on twitter. I think Rihanna
ReplyDeleteIf you wanna call someone out, try not to make yourself look like a misogynistic asshole in the processes. The fuck is wrong with being a female? Also, if you ever actually interacted with a woman, you'd know that women don't get all pissy when they have their period. I'd bet a million dollars that you couldn't tell, based on behavior or attitude, whether a woman was or was not menstruating.
ReplyDeleteGod, I HATE that song. I mean, the tune itself is catchy, but the lyrics are so exploitative. She has to ensure her listeners in the song that she has a boyfriend, so she's not REALLY a lesbian. It's a slap in the face to lesbians who have to put up with this attention-grabbing shit and the stereotype that women just kiss other women to get attention from men. SMH.
