This foreign born Academy Award winning actress brought her husband along on her most recent business trip because he got an 18 year old student pregnant and she wants him far far away. The student is having the baby.

He's the director of a theater company in Australia. Maybe he's been promising parts to 18-year-olds who fuck him. This one's going to cost Cate a bundle.
Of course the student is keeping the baby, she wants Blanchett's millions. Personally, I don't know why the actress would stay with a cheating husband, or have someone push the college student down a flight of stairs.
Silver lining is that pretty sure when deciding child support, even if one party (usually the father) is married to someone else, the courts can only take into account the income of the biological parents, not the income of either one of the parents' spouses. So technically, Cate is off the hook (although chick could demand beaucoup $$ to keep her mouth shut, & if that's what Cate wanted to happen, it would be Cate paying it).
looks like he could have knocked up a chick that was hot-for-teacher. even ugly teachers get crushes from students bc of the whole sexy taboo dynamic, whatever.

ReplyDeleteThis is called 'saving face' so he can get a job somewhere else. Otherwise he could sue the Paris Opera. Don't believe anything you read in the press.
