This former A- list “singer” finished recording a new record. It took her several years. Apparently it is pretty good but no record label will touch it or her after what happened when she crashed and burned singing in the most public of ways. There is talk of releasing it under a family member’s name or just releasing it under a stage name and then never doing any press or tour support.
Ashlee Simpson
Methinks BS.
ReplyDeleteA solid marketer and publicist could turn this around, especially if at least 1-2 songs are good enough to chart.
In fact, purposefully having her do a live performance would be a swell way to begin a comeback.
Yeah, wouldn't you think that putting out a good record is exactly how you would turn her situation around? I would think any record company would jump to be part of that comeback (if it really is good).
ReplyDeleteThis sounds just like the beginning of a PR stunt to create interest, that hopefully turns into sales.
ReplyDeleteIf it is really a good album, it will sell.
If someone thinks they can make a buck off of it then it will get produced/distributed.
ReplyDeleteUm, son and Miss Ross wants her to earn her keep.. become a recognizable celeb again?
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh that makes sense
ReplyDeleteEverybody would want to watch her perform..I think she has unbearable stage fright.
ReplyDeleteI think she has a bunch of problems which manifest as self sabotage/ stage fright.
ReplyDeleteHope u get it OK going girl!
