Blind Item #6 - Kindness
I don't know if this foreign born permanent A+ list singer/musician from a top 3 all-time group does this at every show or not, but at a recent show he did something nice for a large group of visually impaired people. I will let the recipient of it tell it in her own words.
"We went to the concert last night. It was a big secret because it was free for our group. We were told it was because they were undesirable seats where the sound was great but the stage was out of range, perfect for the visually impaired. THEY LIED! We were dead center, 9 rows up from the floor! Probably the best seats! Also we got waved through security, not even wanded! And we were in VIP parking. I just found out today that our tickets were courtesy of ________________________! He wanted visually impaired and blind people to be able to attend show, so he gave our group the opportunity! "
Sir Paul?
ReplyDeleteor Mick J?
ReplyDeleteDon't know who the third all time band would be, The Police? Genesis? The Who?
I hope it's not Bono, because the "all-time" thing is wrong.
ReplyDeleteBono /U2?
ReplyDeleteDavid Gilmore from Pink Floyd?
ReplyDeleteTo me the biggest band of all time, and not necessarly the best, are
ReplyDeleteBeatles
Rolling Stones
Who
and i think the musician is Paul MacCartney, since i think he is the one, and likely only, now currently on tour
Well, Sir Paul is tour so let's go with him
ReplyDeleteHard to imagine Mick Jagger doing a good deed...
ReplyDeleteI'll go with Bono.
Oh, damn, i forgot my beloved Pink Floyd!
ReplyDeleteOk, i take away The Who from my list
So, Beatles
Rolling Stones
Pink Floyd
( and i can see Davide do this, he is a kind albeit not naive soul , still hippie deep inside )
I would say Led Zep over the Who.
ReplyDeleteFinal Answer: Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, currently touring.
ReplyDeleteBillboard lists Springsteen as the top group front man of all time. List of 25 includes everyone mentioned above.
ReplyDeleteyou are ABSOLUTLY right, i often confuse them in names
ReplyDeleteSo, Bruce or Paul
But i remeber that someone told me that Bruce ALWAYS does charity things, while touring, so i think him
( well, i am a fickle, on this thread )
Maybe if the list of top 3 bands of all time was created in NJ. (This is something he would do and not publicize it but doubt it is the right answer for this blind)
ReplyDeleteBruce Springsteen & the E Street Band
ReplyDeleteBon Jovi
Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
Not foreign born.
ReplyDeletePAUL MACCARTNEY, Period.
ReplyDeleteHe was born in NJ so I guess that would depend on who you ask what is foreign born
ReplyDeleteIt says foreign born. I'd guess Paul McCartney.
ReplyDeleteYes, we know. Settle down
ReplyDeleteGenesis or The Police as top 3??? I do not think so.
ReplyDeleteIt's Beatles, Rolling Stones and either Zeppelin or The Who.
Why should i? I am just having fun, i don't need to calm down
ReplyDelete+11,009
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure this is McCartney. I read a story about him doing something like this. Good for you. Sir Paul!
ReplyDeleteEddie Vedder-Pearl Jam
ReplyDeleteEddie Vedder-Pearl Jam. He's the coolest dude.
ReplyDeleteVedder was born in Chicago. This is about a foreign born musician. Not him.
ReplyDeleteBono. He's supposedly going blind himself. He's had vision problems for most of his adult life. I wouldn't put them as top 3, but it's Enty so he's probably saying they're top 3 because he met Bono once and he was really nice to him.
ReplyDeleteOn what planet?
ReplyDeleteBruce was born in the USA. :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha - drat! A perfectly good guess.....not so good.
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for Sir Paul.
ReplyDeleteIt says foreign born, moron. Your daily idiocy makes me long for Derek.
ReplyDeleteIt's McCartney
Touring without Clarence Clemons (RIP). I've seen them a dozen times but always with Clarence. It's going to be pretty weird.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't need to calm down before but after whining like that about it, now you do.
ReplyDeleteTop three rock bands of all time - Beatles, Zeppelin, Stones. I love the Who and Pink Floyd but no.
ReplyDeleteLed Zep's not together or touring, the Stones are but Mick would rather die than give away a slew of tickets so that leaves Sir Paul.
Macca for the win.
Bon Jovi ranked pretty high on Billboard's list too.
ReplyDeleteI have no frickin idea who this is, McLurkface.
I love you too, El Jefe.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense. I had trouble with the all time top 3 thing, but not as much trouble as I had with reading comprehension yesterday. I think the vision problem is key.
ReplyDeleteThe parking passes made me a little nervous....
ReplyDeleteExcept, i wasn't WHINING, i was joking, so you're wrong again, now how about YOU care about yourself, instead of trying to get my mood?
