ReplyDelete@Sharon: It's not a logical thing to do, it has to do with being physically addicted to the substance, which trumps all else, health, legality, logic, job, family. It's a compulsion.
ReplyDeleteThe CBS evening news has ran a segment the last few days about the opioid epidemic in this country. Every 18 minutes, someone dies from this. They followed a young man, whose life has been ruined by his addiction. His whole life is getting what he needs to get high.
This has been revealed as Benji Madden/Cameron Diaz but BM has never been the singer in a band. He is the guitar player. .??
