Blind Item #3

This former child actor from an acting family was once A+ list way back in the day. That child fame has kept her at B list for much longer than should be the case. Anyway, she was going to run for political office but pulled out when she found out a while treasure trove of scandal about her and her family was headed her way.

    Melissa Gilbert just dropped out of her Congressional race in Michigan but says it was for health issues. Seems Enty reads "People" headlines too...

    Definitely Melissa Gilbert. She is living in rural Michigan and challenged a Congressman for his seat. She withdrew her bid last night due to injuries sustained in a car crash. http://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/2016/05/24/melissa-gilbert-out-race-congress/84877866/

    A car crash? She had a balcony collapse on her head, and also had injuries from her DWTS stint. That girl has no luck.

    I'm guessing the scandal has to do with her husband, Timothy Busfield, and the sexual assault allegations made against him in the past, because MG has been pretty open about her past drug history.

    I've always been more befuddled by the guys she's been involved with rather than her bullcrap tax debt excuses---
    -She was engaged to Rob Lowe....then right after their breakup she immediately married cutie Bo Brinkman....then married Bruce Boxleitner(that one always befuddled me)...then she married Timothy Busfield(of course,he's no great catch imo).
    -Enty,seeing that she was president of the Screen Actor's Guild i can see her still being B rating at least re: name recognition anyway.
    -i'm not a fan of hers at all.
