This A- list mostly movie actress has a superhero sidekick thing going for her. She is also an Academy Award winner/nominee. Two of her siblings are in polygamous marriages.
I think it is suppose to be Scar Jo but ONCE AGAIN, she is NOT an Oscar nominee/winner. She sang a song that was nominated (could have won not sure) for best original song. Her name was never in the nominations
Damn, when I read that polygamy is allowed in the US, and an adult boning a chick or guy who is 17 and (the 17 yo) has already sucked all the football team's cocks or shagged whatever female sport full team is punished with jail, it makes me sick.
It's not legal here. Technically not even legal in Utah (I was told in school that was a condition for their admittance into the Union, they had to give up being a theocracy and not condone some of the more controversial Mormon practices). People who really want to do it find loopholes though, and if they're all consenting adults and no tricky issues like illness, custody battles, taxes or health insurance pop up, *shrug* what can anyone do? Kinda weird that you're comparing an adult having sex with a minor to a group of adults who have all given informed consent to live together in a relationship. The problem with polygamy begins when either a) the women don't know about each other and the man is essentially committing fraud or b) the women are under age and/or non consenting and/or being abused which is what happened with that fundamentalist cult.
If you are an 18+ year old tax paying citizen and making the decision with your own free will--I do not see what is wrong with polygamy. If having children one woman out of wedlock then breaking up and having more with another is legal, why isn't this legal?
Amy Adams? She's Mormon and this plays to the stereotype.

ReplyDeleteNot Amy Adams, I happen to know her family quite well - all of her siblings are married to only one person. This blind is most likely BS.
ReplyDeleteKinda weird that you're comparing a 17 yo to a child, too. Potato, potahto.

ReplyDeleteI lived 5 years next to a Mormon church in France. The first words that they said me is "we are NOT polygamous". I never met some persons more polite.
