Blind Item #3
More rehab is on the horizon for this suddenly unemployed B+ list mostly television actress. Oh, I'm sure she will call it something else again, but it is one of the things that led to the cancellation of her show.

ReplyDeleteShe's continuing to deal with post partum depression, according to the DM.

ReplyDeleteI think Enty said she was in for drug rehab not PPD as she claimed and is claiming again. I hate to see others lose their jobs based on her issues, why not just let her go ?
ReplyDeleteI'm saying the depression is the cover story for rehab.
ReplyDeleteShe'd better get clean, or she is going to find herself in the uninsurable position that RDJ found himself in at one point. It will be very hard for her to get work.
ReplyDeleteVery, very uncool hiding behind PPD. Use something else to cover the drug problem. PPD is not something to be used like that. Total loss of respect for HP.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I hear something like this about HP, I can't help but remember the big Himmmm reveal about her family life. Experiencing all that at such a young age must be torture for your brain, and I guess some people can never get over it. I always hope this isn't what is behind all her issues and that she can move ahead somewhat. Sad
ReplyDeletePPD and drug use aren't mutually exclusive. Maybe she became dependent on drugs to deal with her depression? As OB said, she certainly seems to have reason to be depressed.
ReplyDeleteMost new mother's have depression after giving birth but not all recover quickly.. some hide their fear and shame and self medicate themselves and eventually break down and tell friends, family and they make sure she sees a doctor.. she had to work and tend to a newborn, it's too much responsibility for some to be this solo important person in a child's life and her dreams of what mother hood and comparing it to reality could be a dread of failure and disappointment .. so cut her some slack., becoming a fit mother and feeling happy again with balancing her life is most important.. no more accusing innuendo and catty remarks., she's getting help for whatever and not hiding.. also being a public figure might have saved her and her daughter from tragedy.
ReplyDeletethis is why I dont want to have kids. the physical tradeoff is so mindblowingly unequal. why do women want that, just so they can have babies? they really are willing to basically ruin or end their lives just so they can have another version of themselves?
ReplyDeletewhat a waste.
Yep, all signs point to this being Hayden P. Did a quick google search and sure enough, Nashville is being cancelled. Shame, it was actually a pretty good show. I didn't start watching until last year, but it reminded me of the good ol' days of evening soap operas like Dallas (man my North Texas grandmother loved that show), and Falcon Crest. I thought it was interesting that one of the recent story lines had Hayden P's character suffering from postpartum depression and drug/alcohol abuse. I guess the writers didn't have to look far for material. It'll be interesting to see how they wrap the series up.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
ReplyDeleteI'm an old now & never had kids. *BEST* decision of my life, especially when I see how worn down physically/financially my friends have become after having them. And it seems like the people that are the *least* fit to have kids are the ones who do. Sad. :-/
ReplyDeleteIsn't her kid like 2 years old now? Her post birth hormones should have gone back to pre birth levels . But good for her for getting help
ReplyDeleteshe's an alcoholic. this is not PPD at all. And she's been in rehab for over a month now but is only making it seem like she went this week
ReplyDeleteDepression/anxiety disorders tend to go hand in hand with addiction issues. It's called self-medicating. It's harder for doctors to treat depression without dealing with the addiction issues first. Proper treatment cannot start if the patient is still self medication. So deal with that first (rehab, AA whatever) then they can get to work properly and safely on the REAL problem. Whoever this is, I wish them well because it is going to be hard going for her.
ReplyDeleteRDJ's story is epic and worthy of a biopic in about 20 years. What a comeback!
ReplyDeleteTo Kathy: Her issues are only part of the reason for the cancelation. Fans had become disenchanted with the season for the last few years. It was a bubble show, and maybe HP was the straw that broke the camel's back, but it would only have taken a straw. This show was probably done regardless of what happened to her.
ReplyDelete@c17: I completely agree.
ReplyDeleteLol it's not that bad. But you do what you think is best for you...no shade and no hatred. We all make choices. Although it is rather crappy of you to dismiss people's reasons for having kids. I don't presume to know the minds of others and it would be nice to have that consideration in return. That's all.
ReplyDeleteCorrect. Hayden comes from a chaotic Lohan type of family background. Hayden's father was arrested about 10 years ago for beating up her mother. And police will tell you that someone arrested for beating a spouse has been violent with them before, it is a pattern. Children who grow up in that environment are more likely to become alcoholics and drug addicts.
ReplyDeleteYour advice is great but believing Hayden's made up story is naive. She's a drunk, that's the real reason for the rehab.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. That poor girl is a hot mess.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure she was sold to that boxer too. That's got to be hard to live with.
