Blind Item #2
This actress, who everyone loves when they meet her bailed on a party last week. The actress, who is A-/B+ list and went from one franchise to another while also getting an Academy Award win/nomination was not being paid attention to. She was at the party and is used to being the focus of attention and not one person came up to her or fawned over her so she left.

She actually has a book due out in November so we'll see if that's a better avenue for her. She has 7 movies out this year, most seem like indy crap-fests except Trolls and Mike & Dave's (and I suppose The Accountant but given her prominent place in the Ben/Jen drama who knows how that will go over). Only movie on tap for next year is PP3...maybe a sign that her 15 minutes is up?

ReplyDeleteI don't remember the specifics and am too lazy to google you the articles but there was stuff about how Anna was so flirty with Ben that Jen had to show up to the set and check it out. Maybe just people making something out of nothing, or misinterpretting her sense of humor (if you believe her Twitter she basically wants to boink the world). But there was a bunch of drama and gossip about it that could come back up when the movie comes out
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I always thought that Lainey's blind about him and a "comely brunette co-star" was Emily R. from Gone Girl, or Olga Kurelenko from that Malick movie. But maybe it was Anna? Or all three?

ReplyDeleteI think the reason she becomes gossip/clickbait so often is that she chooses to keep her personal life (boyfriend, friends, etc) private but her social media persona is a bit thirsty and raunchy. So the gossip folks seem to have just decided that she gets around and will do whatever she can for attention
Was all of that stuff even real? Because I thought some crazy, obsessed psycho admitted in these comments section that he/she/it had been sending in blinds about AK for awhile. I figured everything posted about her without proof was the fantasy work of this person.
ReplyDeleteShe definitely has stalkers on Twitter. Some dude from Mexico who thinks she died and reincarnated in him or some such and some rando who thinks they are 4 people working security for her at events to protect her from another stalker.

ReplyDeletethe Affleck rumors were fake. Anna was at the time (and still is) with Ben Richardson. they've been together for 2-3 years now. Anna does keep her private life private, and gossip sites hate that about her. so they try to ruin her rep by spreading ridiculous rumors that have zero truth to them.
ReplyDeleteit was pretty obvious it was the nanny that messed things up between Ben/Jen. one site just threw Anna's name out there because she just so happened to be working with Ben at the time. the gossip site that started the rumor even said it was fully unsubstantiated. they simply made it up. it was pure click-bait. no truth to it at all. every other site that reported it referenced that one site. don't fall for that click-bait trash.
Given the thirstiness of her tweets and such, gonna have to agree to disagree with you here. Don't know why anyone would go to a big event if they want to be left alone...those two things don't quite go together since big events are all about being seen out and about with others

ReplyDeleteya, she sadly does have a couple stalkers that mostly stick to social media. though one has been to this site, and like you said, I believe they are responsible for the majority of Anna blinds we see here, which are usually 99.9% fake.

you keep using that word thirsty? what do you mean by that? I agree she's a bit of a try hard. if that's what you mean, but she's only trying to stay relevant in a crazy fast paced industry that can forget you at any moment. social media is her biggest tool to use. can't really blame her for that. though, I do wish she would come across less of a try hard and be more sincere, which she used to be. she does try a little bit "too" hard these days to be the funny girl on Twitter.

Pitch Perfect is hardly a "franchise" and she was barely in Twilight. that wasn't her franchise, she wasn't even in the last 2 or 3 films. this screams JLaw or someone from a Marvel series. this doesn't sound like Anna at all but it seems to be the trendy thing to mention her constantly in blinds. it must drive some people crazy that she's so private. it's like people have to know things about her, and if she won't tell them, they'll go and make stuff up.
Who are these "gossip folks"? Cause I've been a fan of Anna's since the Up in the Air days and I don't recall ever once reading anything from any celebrity news/gossip site suggesting that she "gets around". Her reputation has always been the exact opposite of that. She dated Edgar Wright for 4 years and now seems to have a long term thing going with this cinematographer guy. The girl loves to commit I'll give her that. It's actually quite refreshing to know she doesn't jump from man to man like so many other actresses.

ReplyDeleteThat was proved to be bullshit. By the time Anna started working with Ben on The Accountant he was separated from Jen. Not publicly at that point, but they were over then. Not only that but Anna's boyfriend was on set almost the whole time they were filming that movie. He's been with her on set for a lot of her movies the past couple years. I'm sure the gossip sites would love for it to be true because it's a juicy story, but Ben's marriage was over at that point.

It doesn't just say "everyone loves." It says that everyone that MEETS her loves her. That's not 100% true, but nearly 100% of people that spend any time with her love her. There's always one or two that don't, but that's not different from any other human being on Earth.
ReplyDeleteShe isn't ugly either. She looks amazing with no makeup on. Maybe it doesn't come across in pictures or on movies, but in person she's gorgeous. She is funny, that's why so many people love her. You don't think she's funny, but professional comedians and comedy writers do. All the articles about how funny her tweets are, or show an interview where she's funny exists because she's funny. If she wasn't no one would talk about her tweets or interviews. As for your opinion on the talent level of her acting...... she was nominated for an Oscar and a bunch of other ones. That happened because she a good actor. You might not like her acting, but critics, other actors, directors, producers, and writers disagree with you. It's fine that you don't like her, but to act like your opinions are fact is just plain stupid.
I've heard about the stalkers on Twitter, but I've never sought it out myself. Based on the stuff I've read in the comments on other blinds about Anna it sure looks like she's got way more than 2 stalkers on Twitter. The comments I've read look different from each other, with different writing, spellings, the way they word things. She's famous and famous people, particularly famous women have got WAY more than 2 stalkers. A stalker from Twitter might send Enty blinds, they might comment on here or try to comment as other people. What I do know is there's no way all of the comments in her blinds are only from one or 2 people.
ReplyDeleteI've worked on movies with actresses that had people stalking them in real life. Showing up everyday to set trying to talk to them. It's scary as hell to see the look in their eyes and hear them yell about how they're supposed to be together. Cyber stalking can be scary too. The thing is when I've worked with actresses that have a cyber stalker they're more annoyed than anything. Sometimes they're scared, but most of the actresses were more annoyed that someone is sending them 500 tweets. Not because the tweets are scary, they're mad that the 500 tweets are making it hard to see other people's tweets!
I don't usually write long things like I've done on this blind, but I've worked with Anna on several movies and there was just something about some of the comments that ticked me off. Now I can't stop commenting! What some of the comments on this blind show me is that there are a lot of people that think they somehow know someone they've never met or met but don't know that well. They decided Anna's a certain type of person and I doubt anything I say is going to change their mind. I'm betting that's what happens with these stalkers. The people on here that don't like Anna see an interview or read tweets from her and decided they don't like her, so they formulated some bullshit in their head and think it's fact. Stalkers do the same thing, except they love the famous person instead of hate them.
What I've seen on sets with people that have obsessed fans makes me think a giant chunk of it is simply mental illness. They like the celeb, read up on them, watch everything with that person and their mental illness takes over and now they're trying desperately to meet that person. Or even scarier, they think they belong with that celeb.

ReplyDeletewhat I love about Anna tho is that she doesn't take any shit from creepy male fans. there was that guy who sent her diamond earrings in the mail a few years ago and she threw them in the trash. there's also this awesome clip on youtube of a male fan yelling out "i love you!" to Anna while she's on stage at a film premiere and she replies with "shut up" she's brilliant like that. she doesn't take crap from anyone.
you nailed it about the twitter thing too. it's really sad tho cause Anna used to reply to her fans all the time years ago. but she doesn't anymore. now mostly because she has triple the followers she used to have. but also because we have creepy stalkers like this security agent idiot who literally tweets her 50-100 times a day. i'm pretty sure Anna never reads her twitter anymore. way too much shit for her to sort though.

there was even one blind recently that got "revealed" to be Anna, and it was a lie. it was the one about her skipping a premiere in January to avoid a crazy ex bf. #1 she had no premiere, and #2. there is no crazy ex. her most recent ex is Edgar Wright and they're still friends. but Enty or whoever, attached her name to it even tho it was 100% false, and people in the thread were even saying as much! poor journalism right there. goes to show this is just pure tabloid trash making random shit up to get hits.

Secondly there was a blind item about her circa twilight and it was not complimentary. ReplyDeleteI think I remember a tweet of hers that mentioned how she doesn't read her notifications sometimes and only opens Twitter to get rid of the blue dot. That's insane that she's getting 50 to 100 tweets from one person everyday. That sucks for fans that want Anna to see something they made for her. Or Anna is missing out on seeing something that might brighten her day.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that when I first worked with Anna I was a little thrown off. She wasn't a big name yet, so I thought she would be like other young actresses. Anna was so sarcastic and had no problem going toe to toe with the guys on set. Whenever someone made fun of her (in a nice way) she would give it right back. She's without a doubt one of my favorite actors to work with.
I hope she gets the stalker problem sorted out. I've known other actors that had stalkers for a long time. They were fine and didn't let it bother them. Time passes and the stalkers don't go away, so it starts to get to the actors. It starts to change how they interact with people. They can't take the pressure and fear that they are always faced with, so they start to take out their problems on others. I'll be working with her again later this summer. Here's hoping she hasn't let it get to her!
From what I see on this site there's a good chance Enty means this to be Anna. I've read long time commentators on this site say Enty reads something in the news and decides to spin it to make it a blind. I'm guessing that's what he did this time. He read that little blurb in the Washington Post and thought he would make a blind out of it.
ReplyDeleteIn my post below I talk about my friend that got mistook for Anna. She was at the party where this blind supposedly took place, so I'm guessing the reporter saw my friend and thought she was Anna like so many people do.
As you pointed out in an earlier post Anna's got stalkers and now she has to deal with fake blind items that are making her look bad? That's awful! The stalkers are bad without question, but blinds about her not going to a premiere or acting like an entitled diva can hurt her reputation. If the stalkers are only online she can handle that even if it's annoying. People in Hollywood read this site. There's a ton of bullshit, but there's a mix of real blinds too. Lately there haven't been as many real blinds, but there's some that get mixed in. There are days I'm really glad I didn't try to become an actor!
