Blind Item #11 - Kindness
At one point in time this actor had a hit movie, a cable show, a pay cable show and a network show all on at once. Now he just has some movies and an almost television show. Still though, quite the run. Our actor and his mogul wife write a lot of big checks each year to help pay the travel and expenses for volunteers who want to go overseas and volunteer their time in impoverished countries but can't afford the expense. Together they probably spend about $100K a year and the mogul talked her bosses into donating $1M.
Jeremy Piven
ReplyDeletekyle chandler?
ReplyDeleteSomeone actually married Jeremy Piven?
ReplyDeleteNot that we know of.
ReplyDeleteMy faith in people is restored. To an extent.
ReplyDeleteJoseph Gordon-Leavitt?
ReplyDeleteI always want to guess David Morse for these BIs. He's not in an almost tv show. But I'll still guess David Morse. Because reasons.
ReplyDeleteIf it ever comes out that he's a super big douchebag I'm gonna be Gary Busey levels of shocked.
How fucking weird of a word is "shocked" anyway?
I missed you Riven! Remember the good times we had? I didn't drive you off or anything...
ReplyDeleteSteve Buscemi always seemed to be popping up in stuff but his wife isn't a mogul.
ReplyDeleteOT: thanks Enty for the good Blinds!
Chris Messina?
ReplyDeleteIn the second half of 2012, Argo was killing it in the theaters, Damages was wrapping up it's run on FX/Direct TV, The Newsroom was starting on HBO, and The Mindy Project premiered on Fox.
He's done a bunch of movies recently (including another Affleck epic) and The Mindy Project is now exclusively streaming on Hulu.
His wife Jennifer Todd is a mogul - she's been a very successful movie producer for twenty years. Her current bosses are billionaires Ben Affleck and Matt Damon - she's the president of their production company.
And he's supposed to be a really nice guy.
Not married & not nice.
ReplyDeleteI like this guess, @Anon.
ReplyDeleteBen and Matt aren't billionaires. I know it was just hyperbole on your part but I thought I'd clarify anyway.
Yes it was hyperbole. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso of note is that Matt and Ben are already known to be very charitable as it is; both even have their own pet projects and spend a good amount of their time and money championing them.
