This aging former A+ list singer/musician who was closeted forever and still isn't front and center about his sexual orientation cheated on his husband while on a recent vacation. The husband was there, but it was a big party weekend and our singer had plenty of sexual encounters which his husbands puts up with.

ReplyDeleteIDK if this is Manilow, because it says "aging" and not "old" and Manilow is past aging - he's 72. Otherwise, I'd say it's him.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had occasion to see Manilow in the past few months and told me he requires exactly 4 M&Ms when he takes a break or whatever.
I kinda like this. He's 80, though, and I think of that as already aged. BUT - he's never been direct about his sexuality.

I read this about one of his recent concerts: "...during “I Write the Songs,” thousands of concertgoers waved their free souvenir green glowsticks like they were at an AARP rave."
ReplyDeleteCan't be Elton, as much as he was in the closet and then semi-in the closet for years - he's been more than up front about his orientation for ages and ages now.
ReplyDeleteManilow sounds about right. I had no idea got married, I didn't even know he came out.
Elton is the subject of that British threesome story so it's not an exlusive marriage but Elton isn't exactly shy about proclaiming his homosexuality.

As far as the green glow sticks, you are given one when you walk in. Everyone loves the way they gllow when the lights are out. All I care about is his terrific talent. I met him and what a nice guy he is. You all need to get a hobby or read a book because you sound very stupid. Millions of people cannot be wrong when his shows sell out at every concert.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I personally am not interested in thinking about Barry Manilow having any sexual preferences at all. He writes the songs. Period.
