SXSW
This former B+ list mostly movie actor who was in that huge franchise that seemed to film for two decades turned quirky television actor almost got into a huge fight with a guy at The Iron Bear. Apparently a patron mispronounced the actor’s first name a few times and our actor slapped the guy on the face. Not a good idea. The actor was soon surrounded by five or six other guys before someone managed to break it up.
Elijah Wood
This blind defies logic. There must be more to it that isn't being mentioned..
ReplyDeleteSince I am 6'3" tall, when I was a young man, short guys (at bars) every now and then, would out of the blue, challenge my manhood.
ReplyDeleteI never quite understood why.
Most of the time, I would walk away with the short guy pronouncing me a "pussy" or some other effeminate referenced name.
So, Elijah being 5'5" sounds as if he suffers the same disease as the ones I used to run into.
By the way, half the people I meet end up mispronouncing my last name continuously.
The iron bear is a gay friendly bar. I think enty is saying Elijah Wood is gay but using the fight as the main subject of the blind.
ReplyDeleteIron Bear is a gay bar.
ReplyDeleteelijah IS gay. I assumed people knew.
ReplyDeleteSlap? That seems odd.
ReplyDeleteHow can you possibly mispronounce Elijah in a way insulting enough to provoke a slap? Unless it has something to do with his last name.
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone called him Elijah Minnelli?
ReplyDeleteBS...he's regularly around Austin and is known as a very nice, down to earth guy.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of comenters on her say that anything referred to as "that franchise" by Enty is Twilight.. Guess this destroies that theroy
ReplyDeleteHe will always be Elijah Minnelli to me from now on!
ReplyDeleteHahaha!
A friend of mine was there. Someone was saying Eli-jah rather than Eli-zha. Woods was way drunk.
ReplyDeleteHaha because gay. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteSure he was.
