People's Choice Awards
It is tough to hear it and people don’t like to hear that one of their favorites was a pain, but it happened. This hanging on to A+ list mostly movie actress despite not doing much the past couple of years treated everyone like crap last night and could not wait to do what she was there to do and leave.
Sandra Bullock
never liked her
ReplyDeleteWith all the goodwill she's built up over the years, we can write off one bad night.
ReplyDeleteMaybe her feet hurt, she hates doing this.. She's worth 200 million and should semi retire, she's having mid-life change lady problems and Louis is entering that five year old rambunctious, no no no danger is fun stage and getting on her nerves
ReplyDeleteNever an excuse for being rude, especially when your livelihood depends on it (although her's doesn't anymore). That said, I'd much rather spend an evening hanging with my kids than dressed to the nines at an awards show.
ReplyDeleteShe was never one of my favorite anythings - on the contrary, I've always found her way overrated with pedestrian talent, at best.
ReplyDelete"Hanging on to A+ list"...with her most recent Oscar nomination being only two years ago. (Criminy, even Meryl has had huge bombs in her career...recently, too. The Homesman, anyone??) Sandra's been a box office mainstay for 20 years. She's not "hanging on" to anything. She could greenlight a reading of the phone book if she wanted to.
ReplyDeleteshe was probably avoiding all the reality stars who showed up that night.
ReplyDeletejust come out already, sandy.
ReplyDeleteWe'll all make a note of that
ReplyDeleteWhile I do not know JLaw and Ms. Bulldocks personally, when you reach the zenith of your career (getting an Oscar) you really do feel like you have kissed so much ass your lips are chapped and smiled at people you hate to the point where your jaw aches. Live in their shoes for a month and then criticize them. It is a phony business with ugly, mean, nasty, perverted, demonic people. What every actor/actress endures on the way up the ladder would be considered animal cruelty if they were dogs or cats.
ReplyDelete'Gravity' was on TBS last night -- I think it was TBS.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I decided since it starred Sandra, I would watch Netflicks re-runs of 'Supernatural.'
I think I went with the better option.
Never saw 'Gravity." And, I don't want to, either.
Winchesters make it all better!
ReplyDeleteI can't deal with astronaut drama anymore. I'm still not over HAL sending Gary Lockwood into outer space in 2001.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I could never figure out how she became a lead actress .
ReplyDeletetoo much suffer, too much
ReplyDelete^That
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised. She's always looked bored and unhappy to be wherever she's at. And honestly, I don't blame her. Why she goes to these shows is beyond me. I'd have them FedEx my award if it were me. I'd get an attractive Native American to read my acceptance speech like Brando did.
ReplyDeleteYes! Love Sam and Dean!
ReplyDeleteAll of us feel terrible for the "Oscar" winners who are making more money in a year than 98% of the population.
ReplyDeleteAs the middle class stands at the edge of poverty, Medicare is cut another 25%, & the biggest indicator of a child's health, income, & life is poverty...we will take a few minutes to say a prayer for all of the asses kissed by those in their compounds that could house a small village chose to kiss in order to attain a worthless statue that is indicative of the greed, egotism, & ignorance that continues to support & applaud the top 1%.
Get a f#cking clue.
*who chose to kiss asses
