Blind Item #6
This A- list comedian who is more known for his talk show now scrubbed an interview slanted against a religious organization because our comedian has an issue he would not like released publicly. The organization plans to use it if the comedian ever thinks about going down that road again.
Jimmy Kimmel
ReplyDeleteOr James Corden but he's foreign born
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be someone political and Scientology is probably the "organization" ---I will guess Trevor Noah or John Oliver. Both foreign born but no way is it someone on a major network-they do not do those type of interviews.
ReplyDeleteCraig Ferguson.
ReplyDeleteBill Maher.
ReplyDelete"now scrubbed" --Craig Ferguson

oops...I read this wrong-i thought his talk show was "now scrubbed"
ReplyDeleteHe has a new show that might fit in with this blind. It's set up for current events. Don't know what he would be hiding since he's pretty open about his past.
ReplyDeleteoh,okay.I didn't know he has a new show.-thanks @ Guesser!
ReplyDeleteIs Steve Harvey considered a comedian?
ReplyDeleteI think it is Bill Maher as well. I mean, what other comedian does politics better than Maher...
ReplyDeleteIt's called Join or Die History channel. They show full episodes online.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Fallon and Trump! The thing that he wants to keep under wraps is his substance abuse.
ReplyDeleteJimmy loves impersonating him and he does a good job might I add, shame!
Trump is a religious organization? Hmmm did not know that......
ReplyDeleteMaher I think.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Fallon
ReplyDeleteA discerning comma would be most appreciated, no?
ReplyDeleteIs it "his talk show now scrubbed?" or "his talk show, now scrubbed an interview?"
I'm leaning toward the scrubbing of an interview due to the decision to slant or omit key information, but ... still no idea who this is.
It's not Maher. He speaks out against CoS all the time and he openly admits that he does drugs and sleeps with hookers. I don't think there's anything they could release about him that would bother him. They could say he's gay or that he killed someone or whatever - he wouldn't care.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't have to be a political guy like Maher, just someone who may have a guest on their show who is COS or was(like a Leah Remini), and the host was planning on discussing it. Could be anyone but only a few armor were Alist comedians(Corden,Maher,Kimmel, maybe Okiver(not sure). Jon Stewart if he still had a show basically.
ReplyDeleteTotally Fallon. Known for his talk show now. Craig is not known for his talk show NOW. Besides, I can't imagine CF being scared of anything since he has always been forthright about his substance abuse issues. Fallon on the other hand has not.
ReplyDeleteHis Warren Jeffers interview.
ReplyDeleteJK
Seth Meyers? He was head writer at SNL, anchored Weekend Update, and did a lot of political humor. Then he took over Letterman's old slot.
ReplyDeleteOh, NM. I see Seth did an interview with the guy behind "Going Clear" last year.
ReplyDeleteHe's known for SNL way more than he is for his talk show, though.
ReplyDeleteYes. He did that "Kings of Comedy" tour.
ReplyDeleteCan't be Fallon. He's such a butt kissing people pleaser. There never would have been an interview to scrub. He would never open his mouth in controversy about anyone. The organization has to be COS because they are the gatherers of information in their auditing sessions. There are many people who have taken classes at and had auditing done at COS who are not scientologists. Ferguson could have done some auditing with them so they have dirt on him. He is open about being in recovery, but it's possible there is something else there...
ReplyDeleteNoah.
