Blind Item #5
People in the music industry are trying to help out this permanent A list living legend earn some bucks. The thing is, the celebrity offspring of a permanent A lister is in ill health and the drug use has taken its toll. She has been unable to record anything that is usable for the project.

ReplyDeleteMiss Liza has broken my heart many times. If we could freeze 1973 in amber I would do it. She was the A#1 talent in the world. Everyone adored her. We still do, Liza. I wish I had her address in Manhattan (where I live) and I'd go over with flowers, a pound of primo coffee, and a shoulder for her to cry on. While I'm sure she would prefer a pound of primo something else, all she'd get would be the coffee. I'm here if you need me. Everyone on this site would say the same thing. Stay well, stay strong, stay safe. We love you!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why they can't do with Liza what they've done with Sinatra and others. Just use her old tracks and mock up some duets with the people who want to help her. Granted, they've done that when people are already dead but who cares? I'm sure there are versions of everything she's done that were never released. They can use technology to fix things up. God knows they use their tech-magic with/for people who can barely sing a note, Liza's old recordings are probably pretty good.
@Anna - +100!
ReplyDeleteThat's like the nicest thing I have ever read on this site. We need more Anna.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.....really??? Not so sure this is Liza Minnelli, given this news story.....

ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you, Anna, but if you showed up at her door looking like the late Liz, she would faint.
ReplyDeleteI've been sober 2 1/2 years now. Drinking covered up alot of pain. I tell alcoholics when I speak to confront the pain and be rid of it once and for all.
ReplyDeleteForgiveness is accepting the fact that you can't change the past.
