Blind Item #12- Kindness

This actor was A list in his pay cable show. He has been in a monster hit movie as recently as last year. Oh, he also has a franchise and can play serious to slapstick. Lately, he has been starring in a play and each day for the past month he has given a homeless person $200. The same person. Every single day.

    I LOVE Jeff Daniels. I LOVED him in Something Wild and he was amazing in the Purple Rose of Cairo, the list goes on & on.

    He is awesome in real life too. Seriously, he's a great guy. He's been married to the same woman since 1980, lives a normal life with his wife and kids in Michigan most of the time. He founded a small theater group and plays in a band. No drama.

    My dad won tickets to the premiere of Dumb and Dumber plus the premiere after party with the cast. He said Jim Carrey was a huge jerk, surrounded by bodyguards who wouldn't let any fans through. He sat by himself the whole time as bodyguards stood around him. On the other hand, my dad said Jeff Daniels couldn't have been kinder to the fans and spent the whole party talking to them. My dad also walked in on Gary Busey doing coke in the bathroom, but that's no surprise LOL

    That's sweet and all, but give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime. It's nice that he's giving him $200 a day...but what happens to the man, when Daniels stops and isn't there anymore. I hope Daniels helps the man clean up, or get some sort of help with all the money he's making. That would be super nice of him.
