Her boyfriend called in as many favors as he could and sunk a ton of money into the venture to try and save it, but the end of the road is near for yet another failed attempt to get back in front of the camera for this former A- list mostly television actress turned no one will cast me so had to do my own show which bombed mightily actress/producer.
Eva Longoria/Telenovela
One of the worst shows I have ever watched!
ReplyDeleteNever saw it....
ReplyDeleteI've never watched it but my wife really enjoys it, and she's not any kind of fan of Eva Longoria. But it sounds like the sort of thing she'd enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAnyone remember watching Eva on the Young and Restless?
ReplyDeleteIt seems as if everything Eva touches -- or is in charge of -- disintegrates almost immediately.
ReplyDeleteIf only she understood that a NNN Investment would work better for her.
Oh, that's right. NNN Investments won't put her in front of a camera.
But, would secure future income.
I tried watching Telenovela one night. I found it too stupid to watch.
ReplyDeleteWhich means it should have been successful!
Psycho Isabella!
ReplyDeleteIts not reality tv, so it has no shot.
ReplyDeleteWhen they premiered I gave Super Store and Telenovela a chance. I couldn't watch more than one episode of Telenovela. Super Store is on my must watch list. It's pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteThing is I think Devious Maids is hilarious and I can hear her in a lot of the lines. Why wasn't she cast on that instead of producing?
She got a Masters in Latino studies, while on Desperate Housewives.
ReplyDeleteThought she wanted to be a producer now, make more shows/movies for latinas.
ReplyDeleteYes!!! Lol!
ReplyDeleteShe is VERY beautiful
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched it but the few clips seemed funny. I think the premise is a good one and original.
ReplyDeleteEva leaving Y&R and her sudden fan probably drove some of the cast insane, especially L. Bell (Cricket). L. Bell, who has always been off/on as a cast of the show, because her family owns Y&R. I think she gave a real effort to making it outside out of daytime drama. L. Bell made an effort and failed.
ReplyDeleteI mean it's not the worst show ever, but it's almost TOO campy. But I thought she was doing alright as a producer, isn't Devious Maids her project?
ReplyDeleteNot sure what the boyfriend has to do with this. He's head of a Mexican multi-media company whose television branch has an exclusive deal with Univision. There's no connection to NBC or NBC Universal, nor does it look like he sunk any money into the show, so this feels like Enty wrote a little fiction after the show had some underwhelming ratings.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's her. It's going into a fourth season this year.
ReplyDeleteShe co-produces this show.
ReplyDeleteThat's because Lauralee Bell can't act worth shit. Sadly, a lot of shitty soap actors play or have played really popular characters. Then everybody thinks that all soap actors suck, and that's why the good ones leave to do other things.
ReplyDeleteI find that hilarious, because my experience is the EXACT opposite. Love Telenovela (which is still on, BTW, Enty, so let's not write it off as a failure yet, shall we?) and despise Superstore with every fibre of my being. I tried three eps. No frickin' way I'm putting myself through that again.
ReplyDeleteHa! That's funny. I'll probably give it another chance at some point on demand.
ReplyDeleteYou spelled studs wrong.
ReplyDeleteShe still has that Devious Maids tv show...is it still on?
ReplyDeleteExcept that NBC Universal owns Univision, but whatever...
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeletethat show is so damn stupid, I tried and it was horrible.
aww sucks, i liked that show. she was great in it!
