For her new music video, this A+ list singer decided to just steal a bunch of footage and let the owners of the footage try and beat her in court. Even though it was stolen, she doesn't care. She thinks they will give up when they think about taking her and her money on in court.
The "Formation "video I think....
ReplyDeleteWasn't it already proven that Beyonce and her people got permission to use the footage?
ReplyDeleteAlso I really doubt Beyonce was that involved with music video
It isn't a blind item if the info has been around all weekend. Just further proof that this site is garbage.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they got permission to use the footage. The documentary makers had sold their rights to a third party who in turn had granted Beyonce;s team permission.
ReplyDeleteMove along. Nothing to see here.
I really like the video & the song, though it pains me to say it.
ReplyDeleteJay should fund new technology to make her thighs look less terrifying in live performances, though. Can't photoshop a live broadcast - yet.
Frankly,i doubt that Beyonce can even name the Year when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans let alone be involved in how to legally obtain footage from the tragic event to use for her music video.
ReplyDeleteStealing in Hollywood is nothing new.
ReplyDeleteStill if someone calls her out on this it will get bad for her producers, managers and reps to have tricked her, when she complains she had noo idea other than she was greatly inspired to use that famous location showing the great suffering, pride and recovery of her peoples... Oh wait, she began to fire them all recently.. huh?
ReplyDeleteBeyonce is known to steal moves to use for her videos. Remember when she stole a whole video from a European singer? The one where Beyonce was wearing a black turtleneck. She was " praised" for her original moved.....,which were stolen.
ReplyDeleteYup, what @Dutch said. She lacks any real imagination or creativity, so she and her team take from others. She also claims writing credits, even though most everyone knows she's not a writer, it boosts her royalty earnings.
ReplyDeletethe spike lee doc on katrina is a tragically powerful film on it i recommend it
ReplyDeleteBeyonece can't write her name, much less lyrics..
ReplyDeleteHow do you know? I don't even really like Beyonce, but I would definitely not say she lacks imagination or creativity.
ReplyDeleteIt's beyonce but the producer and director of the documentary said that they don't own the footage. Nokia bought it and I'm sure she bought it since Nokia stated her team purchased it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see anything wrong with her thighs. I think she looked good.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Beyonce like Britney times 10? Like bat-shit crazy? I think of that video of her rocking back and forth at the basketball game everytime I see her perform.
ReplyDeleteBeyoncé: It was all my idea.
ReplyDeleteEuropean Singer: You stole it from me!
Beyoncé: Yeah, but it was my idea to steal it.
