Blind Item #12

This Golden Globe winning actor who is back in movies after a run through a hit pay cable show was berating his long time girlfriend the other night at dinner. When she stood up to leave, he grabbed her arm and shoved her back down. She then started crying really loudly and he just walked out leaving her there.

    Only other guess is Idris Elba/Luther on BBC America.He won a GG and he has 3 films back to back since it ended. GF of 10!years or so I think.

    Hall is still doing TV. He's on a series now and a mini series before that. Only film was a documentary is lent his voice to.

    I dunno @Tricia-mb a bad clue (go figure) but BBC America is regular cable around here like A&E,AMC,etc...
    @Sandy's guess works with Michael C. Hall if he HAS a longterm girlfriend- Michael was at Sundance for movie "Christine" which did well there.That could've been where the argument occurred.

    Hmm. I don't have the option of having it free don't think? maybe it is Hall for sure ! Don't know about the GF situation but thought he came up in TV, really- his roots etc.Just sounded like a film actor returning to his medium--- but as you said-- Enty= wonky clues at times.

    The presumption is that the guy is being an ass for "berating" and "grabbing" the woman. Without context difficult to know who was in the wrong or whether it was just a couple having a fight as couples will do.
