Blind Items Revealed #5
December 30, 2015
This permanent A list country singer stood outside an airport terminal last week before the holiday and soon had a crowd of about ten people listening to his stories as they went through about five joints. He then said farewell, passed out all his remaining joints to the assembled people and went to board his flight.
Willie Nelson
Like I said--this should have been a kindness blind.
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell was he where he could stand outside an airport and smoke joints? Esp with all the upped security lately
ReplyDelete^ I was thinking the same thing! Also, why does nothing like this ever happen when I am at the airport?
ReplyDeleteHe gets to smoke joints and they take away my small bottle of water and make me take off my shoes for the x-ray. WTH!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, it wasn't George Strait. Damn. Wrong again.
ReplyDeleteI met Willie when I was 12. It wasn't some short meet & greet either. The second you're in his presence I swear the air changes and you know you're in the presence of something special. This is coming from someone who hates country music. He was so chill and really sweet to me. It's funny because he was by far the biggest star where I was and he was by far the most down to earth. One of the others had this huge tour bus as his dressing room and Willie had this beat up old camper. He was also sitting on one of those old lawn chairs. I always found that very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love that avatar!
ReplyDeleteikr??? i don't even get bodychecked ! : (
ReplyDeletegood T... ; )
ReplyDeleteSmoking a J with Willie. Can life get any better?
ReplyDeleteThat's my baby. She pretty much lets me do anything to her. lol
ReplyDeleteSmoke 'em if you got 'em.
ReplyDeleteWhy the wink? Is it so shocking that someone had a good experience meeting a celebrity?
ReplyDelete@katie
ReplyDeletethats what I was thinking. maybe it was a smaller airport somewhere, like a private one with small private planes.
I love willie, good soul. plus weed is nice.
ReplyDeleteWillie Nelson a pathetic burnout? Say it isn't so.
ReplyDeleteI'd be shocked if he could remember his own name at this point.
Colorado or Washington, maybe? lol I feel like it's probably still illegal to smoke in public there though,
ReplyDeletelol a pathetic burnout who has way more money than you
ReplyDeleteWillie Nelson is reportedly still worth 25 Mil, even after the IRS shook him down. I would guess that he grows his own weed or gets a huge discount because he buys in bulk but probably blows a few hundred grand a month on EZ Widers, Bics and Visine.
ReplyDeleteNooooooo, it was a play on words to your username 'T' instead of the real word 'tea' usually used in the saying 'good tea'.... sheesh
ReplyDeletei thought your story was great @ T ..
ReplyDeleteSorry I misunderstood you. I'm not hip to kid's lingo these days.
ReplyDeletenor am i..lol...let's just call it a 'play on words fail' on my part.! : )
ReplyDeleteIt's all good. Misunderstandings happen all the time. At least this didn't end up in a stupid war of words like most places on the net. ;)
ReplyDeleteThere's a thing going around on FB, re: Willie back about 1959 or so, singing. Short hair. The only way to recognize him is by his voice.
ReplyDeleteWillie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Jesse Colter...man oh man.. Yes, I'm that old. How can you not love the guy who wrote "Crazy", one of the best country songs of all time.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Oregon!
ReplyDeleteBecause everyone who smokes pot is a pathetic burnout.
ReplyDeleteSTFU
