This A list mostly movie actress who is also A list on television for a few more months loved acting hurt about the fate of her television show. She Is the reason the show is ending. Hates her co-workers. Thinks she is way better than they are and wants to work much less for far more money.
Melissa McCarthy
Can't stand her. Most of the characters she plays are all the same.
ReplyDeleteWhat's funny is that she thinks no one realizes this. Apparently, she doesn't make much effort to hide her bitchiness, though.
ReplyDeleteHopefully that's the Big Thing for 2016 - to come out as a bitch.
Ha! I jest - everyone knows I'm a bitch. True bitches don't hide.
Fly that bitch flag high! ????
ReplyDeleteThat bugs me too. "Hi, I'm the loud, funny fat person in this situation!" movie #37.
ReplyDeleteDont know why question marks appeared. I was just joining the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteB----, please! Could it be she is so over-loaded with film work at the moment she doesn't have TIME for a crummy TV show? Don't hate me 'cause I'm hot as hell right now, y'all! She got me back in the theaters after decades-long avoidance at any cost. She is adorable, talented, the best personality in the biz, and everyone loves her. Bitter much?

ReplyDeleteIt's F@ckery Friday!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce people become successful, egos become inflated.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think this is the same lady who did all the cooking on Gilmore Girls.
ReplyDeleteSpy was fantastic. I hope they have plans for a sequel or two.
ReplyDeleteShe has been losing weight also.
Sorry, but she IS too good for that TV show...and who doesn't want to work less for more money? Agreed on the "bitter much"?
ReplyDeleteThe show was not funny; and their characters were very, very unlikable.
ReplyDeleteNever watched it and I probably never will even if it lives on in syndication.
I want to see the movie where she goes to jail for fraud and ends up running the girl scouts
ReplyDeleteCo-sign this
ReplyDeleteHer TV show co-star playing the husband was jelous and petty and constantly made offensive remarks about her. Good for her for quitting that shitty show. I hope that no-talent asshole enjoys unemployment
+infinity. Tho I've never seen the show. But she is a great actor and comedian.
ReplyDeleteSpy was fantastic is right! And SHE was fantastic. As was the rest of the cast. She's been great in every movie I've seen her in -- even the ones w/bad screenplays.
ReplyDeleteYou must not have seen many of her films. Watch Spy; I think you'll change your mind.
ReplyDeletehaha the trailer looks solid!
ReplyDeleteWait, if you never watched it how do you know the characters are unlikable and it's not funny?
ReplyDeleteIf this was a guy we would not be having this conversation...
ReplyDeleteyou win the internet today. don't know the gender of people commenting in such a negative manner BUT if they're women it's somehow, to me, even worse than if it's men. although both regrettable.
ReplyDeleteI am not enjoying the new season of Mike & Molly. You can tell she can't stand her co-workers, especially her TV husband.
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if she'd act less. Maybe we can crowdsource her retirement on Kickstarter?
ReplyDeleteOne can only play the fat funny one for so long. Less if you're losing weight. Her career trajectory looks to be following that of Katherine Heigl.
ReplyDelete'st. vincent', anyone? she pretty much played straight man to bill murray and did a damn good job. i like her and think she's funny. but she seems to be a huge (sorry) bitch in real life.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i thought st. vincent was a comedy. then i watched it. she DID play the straight (wo)man and she DID do a damn good job. Comments like yayme above make me SMH. Um, wrong on all accounts. And 'fat funny' is just obnoxious --- and that's not what she's playing. uninformed or ignorant or both.
ReplyDeleteLoved St. Vincent. McCarthy did a very good job as did Murray and the kid actor (sorry can't remember his name). It def had funny moments but wasn't a comedy.
ReplyDeleteIt was a terrible show, so no loss.
ReplyDeleteyes, to all!
ReplyDeletethat's yes to sam's comments. good lord this website blows.
ReplyDeleteSee, people who say that have clearly never seen St. Vincent, Samantha Who? or Gilmore Girls. McCarthy has range. And like I said when this was originally posted, who wouldn't want to work less for more money?
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that if one doesn't like someone else that one is bitter, or jealous? There have been plenty of rumors that she is not liked by her co-stars. I don't like her because I don't find her one bit funny. So, because she's not to my taste, I must be bitter. Fuck you.
ReplyDeleteanna from savannah, I couldn't agree more! I avoided the theatre for years. The only films that got me in the theatre were the Lord of the Rings flicks. Other than that I was on a complete boycott. Bridesmaids got me back in the theatre and I we laughed our asses off. I also loved her in The Heat with Sandy Bullock. Anyway, I'm a fan and she's a human being so, like all of us, she's not going to be sweet and nice 100% of the time.
ReplyDelete@kno +10000000 exactly
ReplyDelete+1000 Megley
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDelete(Sadly)
Thank you! It especially happens with women! I never found Jessica Biel attractive and EVERYONE'S response is "oh well you're probably just jealous of how hot she is." Uhh no? I'm jealous of how hot Olivia Wilde is. I simply find Jessica Biel boring looking. The leap to jealousy is insane and unfair.
ReplyDeleteI think she's a very good actor and hope to see more of her in the future. Don't give a rats behind about her attitude. I'm not paying to see that.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I wouldn't blame her of leaving. She probably makes millions of dollars doing these movies and why would she want to be on this crappy T.V show.
