Yeah, it shouldn't be a big deal at all but with the way he's marketed it's not surprising someone told him to remove it. Hope he can do what he wants now that the band split/is on a hiatus
These people become famous because they have experts working for them to carefully craft their image. Every single thing down to their shoelaces is thought out. Yes, lipstick has been done by men but only when it went with their image. Personally I think it goes with Harry but maybe they are waiting for a People's cover, awards show or when his next album comes out. It's all so stupid but that's how it is.
Yes, it's perfectly mainstream for a male singer to wear makeup. But not for tweener girls it's not, and it won't be for another few years. So yeah, Harry better fall in line and play Non-Threatening Dreamboat like his career depends on it.
Harry's a musician, it shouldn't be such a big deal and it's been done before, many times over.
