Blind Item #6 - Golden Globes - From AP
This Golden Globe winner likes the world to think he is sober but he was pounding back shots with this controversial (and made more controversy last night) director who was also a winner last night.

ReplyDeleteStallone was slurring in his acceptance speech.
ReplyDeleteYep.Best actor in a dramatic tv series, and he looked surprised.
ReplyDeleteIs Sly supposed to be sober? Didn't know that..
ReplyDeleteTarantino didn't win last night.
ReplyDeleteHamm...he looked like hell
ReplyDeleteSly Stallone does not have a reputation as either a drunkard nor a sober fellow so I'd say this isn't him.
ReplyDeleteTarantino did not win last night.

Jan 31, 2013 - The actor on shyness, working with Sylvester Stallone and staying sober in Hollywood.
Tarintino Hateful Eight won best music score and he accepted the award...
ReplyDeleteEnnio Morricone won the award. Tarantino accepted on his behalf because he wasn't there. Tarantino did not win a Golden Globe last night.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't very wellspoken last night, either. I could have made a drinking game of every time he said "Uhhh" in his acceptance speech
ReplyDeleteStallone's lip's look like they had too much filler, i attributed his slurring to that.
ReplyDeleteYou're right but I think it is supposed to be him. Enty isn't that good on details- he was up on stage with an award and I think the controversy was him talking about 'ghetto' awards.
ReplyDeleteRidley Scott and John Hamm
ReplyDeleteTarrantino is one of them. He called most movie music "Ghetto" and compared Morricone to people like Bach, Mozart and other classical composers.

"Maybe you thought it was a side-effect of his intense weight-lifting routine or an act he put on to appear tougher. Neither are correct it turns out. Sylvester Stallone's slurred speech is actually caused by an accident during Stallone's birth. Due to complications, his mother's doctors were forced to use forceps to help deliver little Sylvester. The doctor accidentally severed one of Stallone's nerves in the process causing partial paralysis in the baby's face. The lower left side of his face remains paralyzed today. This includes parts of his lips, tongue and chin. And this is what causes Stallone's trademark snarl and distinctive voice.

I attributed it to him having the frontal lobe of a fried butt-steak. And to pumping himself full of gorilla testosterone for 40 years. And to being intellectually out matched by a peanut m&m. And to spending his life staring up at hookers from under a glass coffee table. And too much filler, probably that too.
ReplyDeleteActually, the doctor was using the forceps to try to shove him back in when that happened.
ReplyDeleteWhat Derek said
ReplyDeleteHe is such a pompous piece of shit.
ReplyDeleteUm yes he did for The Hated eight. I don't recall the title well.
ReplyDeleteTarantino & Hamm always look wasted so I'll go with them.
ReplyDeleteGotcha...
ReplyDeleteLurv me some Hamm, but in HD he was pimply to the max. Even on the side of his neck. His complextion never looked that rough on Mad Men.
ReplyDeleteWhat booze or drug causes acne?
Hope it's not Hamm. He needs to stay on the wagon.
ReplyDeletejust seeing this response now and I must tip my hat to you sir. best thing i've read in ages.
