Blind Item #5
This foreign born A-/B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee and having another good awards season despite the unusual name has a bit of a coke problem. It has caused a lot of jaws to drop the past month over the holiday season.
Alicia vikander
ReplyDeletesaosie ronan

ReplyDeleteDoesn't have a nomination yet.
ReplyDeleteSaoirse was born in the Bronx.

True- though she has just got a few Bafta noms and is favored to get a couple this awards season here....
ReplyDeleteOtherwise my other guess- Rachel Weisz because her last name is tough to spell correctly (least for me).The Lobster had early Oscar buzz at festival this year

If anyone other poster wants to give me the name of a worthy charity, we'll have Derek Harvey pay my 50 to them.
ReplyDeleteActually, it was her turn in "Youth" as a supporting actress that has people talking...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.awardscircuit.com/oscar-predictions/2014-oscar-predictions-best-supporting-actress/
maybe for the dumb and illiterate...Do you see Academy Award nomination there?
ReplyDelete^For @Molly:)
ReplyDeleteEnty's original post says "awards season" - no mention whatsoever of the Academy Awards.
ReplyDeleteWe all will let you know when we pick a charity.
god you are embarrassing---she hasn't been cleaning-up in awards or nominations...If you don't wanna agree with my correct answer -just let it be...you are so transparent -it is truly cringe worthy
ReplyDeleteLol.
ReplyDeleteThis foreign born A-/B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee
ReplyDeleteyou are dumber than Tricia...That is quite an accomplishment
Lupita Nyong
ReplyDeleteRooney Mara
ReplyDeleteOops. Foreign born... I can read.
ReplyDeleteA worthy and needed cause would be more therapy or another"vacation" for Derek I'd say!
ReplyDeleteBut how is hers an unusual name? It's not her.
ReplyDeleteAMEN!
ReplyDeletegiggle ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll contribute to the vacation fund...
ReplyDeletehmmm, Lupita IS getting good buzz on Broadway right now in her play "Eclipsed"-it moved from Off-Broadway to Broadway beginning in February so award buzz for her Theatre but not for her role in movies i don't think-- her "Star Wars" role won't win her awards...
ReplyDeleteI like the Saorise guess.. I really liked her in "Brooklyn" so she's redeemed herself for being so cruel in "Atonement" ; )
ReplyDeleteAlot of people DO think that she was born in Ireland fwiw...and the coke thing wouldn't surprise me in the slightest..
i think we'll be seeing alot of her..she's talented...
Although the foreign born part bothers me with the Saorise guess too I'm not in the mood to see what other academy award nominated people have wierd names...
ReplyDelete@Derek (fake Derek or real Derek?),
ReplyDeleteThe irony is that what you said is true, but for you - you are the one being transparent. When somebody takes the time to write down your anger and frustration like you consistently do here, being provoked by very little, it means you are suffering in a way so intense, and with such urgency, that those emotions literally spill out onto these pages for strangers to see. You need the catharsis but we can't give it to you to make you feel better.
What up, buddy?
+10000
ReplyDeleteNow add detox, a lobotomy and charm school and we're talking . Can be costly though- anyone want do a Kickstarter campaign
"We cant give it to you"---I never asked for any ones approval
ReplyDeleteGet Bent
Siorise was born in Brooklyn but moved to Ireland at 3 and grew up there. Maybe Enty didn't realize she was born here.
ReplyDeleteGet your shit together, fuckwad. WRONG AGAIN DIDN'T NAIL IT. God, you're embarrassing yourself more than usual today.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Saorise Ronan. She is one of my favorite actors. If it is, I hope she gets help. Back at Sundance last year, she had put on some weight. Wonder if she thinks coke will help keep it off.
ReplyDeleteDerek, go drop into the void.
ReplyDelete@ Gadzooks: Actually it will. First thing people do when they quit coke is balloon up like a puffer fish. Next thing they do is lose their sense of humor in its entirety. Third thing they do is get back on coke so that they can cheer up and stop getting stuck on escalators.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I was missing being here today because work was so awful. Looks like I lucked out though.
ReplyDeleteI should check the moon phases for Fuckery Fridays. Nah...too much work.
